What a wonderful loving thread. Once again Us against them attitude. Do you really think that some people are purposely trying to irritate you. You think you have all the answers but you sound just like the people you are putting on ignore. This I believe has been the most hateful forum I have ever been on. You people think you are the upper class of Christians and no one can join your social group unless they follow you like little puppies wagging their tails in happiness just to be near you.

I have tried to be polite and show love as much as possible like our Lord and Savior would want me to do. Sometimes saying enough is enough and people just need to grow up and quit acting like children. This goes for anyone that isn't in your social group as well.

I'm pretty sure maybe you have me on ignore but I really feel you people on this forum just like to argue to hear yourself argue (or see). It is disgusting and sickening and you aren't edifying anyone but yourselves. If each one of us can't see that each of us are doing the same thing to each other then we aren't humbling ourselves.

I really hope their aren't unbelievers here who are seeking the Lord and seeing this bickering amongst ourselves. I am a moderator of another forum and I can tell you we don't allow this type of behavior from either side.

I have been a member of pagan boards, atheist boards and I don't see this much hatred and bickering coming from them as I see here.

Why is it that Christians can't stand to be around each other on forums? I bet Satan is having a blast seeing us attack each other. We wouldn't treat non believers like this. I truly hope you don't witness to people the way you do here because no one is going to plant any seeds at all.

Like I said, this is for everyone on this forum, not just the ones who disagree with me. If we aren't on this forum to edify God then there really is no point at all being here. We are only edifying ourselves.

God Bless.

Galatians 5:19-21 ESV

Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Wow!

Somebody else said pretty much what I was thinking. Good for you. Now I can unsubscribe in peace after just one post, without having to suffer through the rest of the self-flattering posts on this thread, but not before making one comment:

Isn't it amazing how the spiritual elite, in their deluded minds, who have gathered together here are some of the biggest troublemakers and instigators on this forum?

Would to God that they would limit themselves to this one thread.

I've got this figured out!

Sirk is our resident patience-of-Job dweller. He's got the heart to keep asking questions without snapping. (Sorry, Marc. I thought you were that person, but now that I know you do ignore, you "only" have the patience-of-David now. Don't worry. I nominate me for the patience-of-Jonah! :D) So, I nominate Sirk as our resident keep-them-thinking person, and the rest of us can ignore so we don't go all Big Show on them?

Anyone want to second this? (And hurry up before Sirk finds out what he's been vote into. After all, what are friends for? lol)

Matter of fact, with the one you promoted actively you caused more damage than helped. Just not to me, because I had to grow up in a hurry for the amount of people like you who believe New Age is Christian.

And seriously? You have yet to realize the harm in promoting some dude who thinks he can out do God in healing? Whoa! Frightening.

When your prove-a-point hurts others and the biggest thing you hate is being called on the carpet and you might have to counter "misinformation" (which must be a nifty trick, since you never investigated the info to begin with. I never heard of the guy you were talking about until you mentioned him, so I immediately googled and investigated him. That time I didn't respond? I was both investigating him and then doing dishes before I got back to you!) Doesn't that make you wonder how good you're doing with love God and love others?

I can tell you you ARE hurting others by promoting that garbage!

No more amazing then how quickly people who are brand new automatically assume they know everything they need to know about everyone else in such a short period of time. Major miracle. I wish God would give me such quick discernment too, so I can feel equally as self-righteous.

Some people are all about love, love, love. But we must remember that while God is Love, He is also Truth. And often God's truth offends our humanity. We need more love, but remember not to get all shirty if at times people dispute what you say. There are several truth tenants that all people must believe if they wish to be called Christians. We all need to be corrected in love. So love informed by truth is the way to go. And God's truth is worth standing for.

I have always been of the mind that we need to know what the heretics are doing and saying in order to protect new folks in the faith, but because of all the fighting I've been involved with, I feel more like a tare than a child of God.

VW, I think you're right. Time to hit the ignore button, embrace the grace and enjoy fellowship with brethren who give thanks and praise to Jesus Christ for His awesomeness. New brethren in the faith will learn Truth regardless of the heretics.
Much agreed. It's always good for the new believers to have someone to help explain and for them to have exposure to the critical thinking they need. Or others like myself who haven't had much exposure to different terminology or doctrinal differences so things can get muddled up easily.

AtWhatCost, did you even know that you were into the New Age? Haha! Who would've thunk? Not me. Wow. Ridiculous.

Truth. I'm new a few days and I don't even know how to properly use the forums let alone get to know people well enough to think myself better than them. I do hope I don't get that attitude.

I've noticed a number of posts going up in the last page or so where the names are rather disjointed and it is difficult to determine who said what.

FancyNancy,

As do many others, I disagree with your position on WOF and on Joyce Meyer. This is not intended to be insulting in any way. There are many things you say that I agree with and find helpful. Once again, it is your position and NOT you that I disagree with.

I noticed. There is an error in someone's quoting, not including the quote tags properly, and it has happened to my post earlier making it look like it was a quote from you, even though I tried to fix it---sorry about that, ladylynn!:eek::eek:

Now, THAT'S more like it! I also agree with many of your comments, but I disagree on the position you take, claiming I am WOF, etc, which I am not. I am all about the truth of the word of God. Period!

Blessings.

Amazing to watch a thread evolve.

it started with a plan of action, then in came the spoken of few. Suddenly the thread is off topic, the plan of action is defeated, and nothing is done.

guess i shouldnt be surprised lol
