Sirk is our resident patience-of-Job dweller. He's got the heart to keep asking questions without snapping. (Sorry, Marc. I thought you were that person, but now that I know you do ignore, you "only" have the patience-of-David now. Don't worry. I nominate me for the patience-of-Jonah!
) So, I nominate Sirk as our resident keep-them-thinking person, and the rest of us can ignore so we don't go all Big Show on them?

No, the message is "Do your homework! Just because someone sounds good doesn't make them Biblical."
Matter of fact, with the one you promoted actively you caused more damage than helped. Just not to me, because I had to grow up in a hurry for the amount of people like you who believe New Age is Christian.
And seriously? You have yet to realize the harm in promoting some dude who thinks he can out do God in healing? Whoa! Frightening.
When your prove-a-point hurts others and the biggest thing you hate is being called on the carpet and you might have to counter "misinformation" (which must be a nifty trick, since you never investigated the info to begin with. I never heard of the guy you were talking about until you mentioned him, so I immediately googled and investigated him. That time I didn't respond? I was both investigating him and then doing dishes before I got back to you!) Doesn't that make you wonder how good you're doing with love God and love others?
I can tell you you ARE hurting others by promoting that garbage!

Some people are all about love, love, love. But we must remember that while God is Love, He is also Truth. And often God's truth offends our humanity. We need more love, but remember not to get all shirty if at times people dispute what you say. There are several truth tenants that all people must believe if they wish to be called Christians. We all need to be corrected in love. So love informed by truth is the way to go. And God's truth is worth standing for.
