‪ The leadership induces feelings of shame and/or guilt iin order to influence and/or control members. Often, this is done through peer pressure and subtle forms of persuasion.

‪☑️ Members are encouraged or required to live and/or socialize only with other group members.
‪ The most loyal members (the “true believers”) feel there can be no life outside the context of the group. They believe there is no other way to be, and often fear reprisals to themselves or others if they leave (or even consider leaving) the group.

Oh dear,
About 90 % of this applies to Jesus earthly ministry and disciples.

If the people she has led to the water are truly seeking do you think that Jesus will let them be deceived? Doesn't it seem like if the water is bitter that Jesus will take care of it? Having our hearts after Jesus is the key to understanding. The Father won't let us be misled when we are truly seeking what He wants from us.
Yes sir.I do believe so.

Besides, someone could do far worse than Joyce. She is a million miles ahead of the powerless Jesus ministries.

She is just another prosperity gospel preacher. Her houses are the size of a mall, and she brags about her good deeds. I don't think she should be preaching at all.
I agree there are excesses.

However,prosperity is relative.
To stand against prosperity is to stand against the testimony of heaven, for the economy there ,is in fact, the economy of abundance.

I debated back and forth with myself on whether to post or not and I decided to interject here: I like Joyce Meyer. I have never heard her say she was a "prophetess" . . . I have never heard her say we are "little gods". I have heard her claim that she tries to teach the Bible in practical terms so others can live out Biblical principals in their day to day lives (in practice). I have her book - Battlefield of the Mind and Me and My Big Mouth plus several others. I also give to her ministry. I don't care where she lives, what she lives in, that she has a jet (so I have heard) or even a gold commode (again so I have heard). If she does as much as what is shown on her TV program, in her monthly newsletter and magazine, I will gladly continue to give to her ministry.

I feel better now that that is off my chest! :)

This is just wild conjecture.

Joyce Meyer is 100% sold out to Jesus.

That you tear her to shreds and make such vile judgments about her walk, her message and her life is disgusting and doesn't come from a clean or wise heart where Holy Spirit leads.
There is only one answer to those who do not acknowledge fear of the Lord, you stand judged. Many people, do nice things, help people is desperate situations, do encouraging work but that does not make it christian or right in the Holy sense or truth area.

Now if any child of God points out a heresy or blasphemy, if it is true, wrapping oneself in "I follow Jesus" does not work.

If I teach selfishness, hoping for everything you want in heaven, without the will of God, it is empty, meaningless. Jesus preached the dangers of wealth, its lies and emptiness, how it distracts from those things that really matter.

Now my ministry is only to those who will listen, is driven by love from Jesus, and truth as described in the Word and the Holy Spirit. Now if you need more than this to speak with authority you have already lost the plot. Truth stands on itself, it is Jesus, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life." There is no defense other than admiting what ones real position is.

As you FancyNancy cannot even respond only to say "vile judgements" is simply not an answer.

The world you emotionally describe is the "holy" cannot have anything bad said about them, because they are "holy".
That is a world I do not inhabit, because the truth exists, and no one sits outside it, even the Lord. Jesus came to answer the accusation he did not love the world, but caused its fall into sin. He walked the earth to show it was possible, and the door is swung open to all who would walk in. There is no stain on Him or His actions, no wrong theology, no mistake in his critism.

Unfortunately the Latter Rain do not know Him, because what they say is so far out, it becomes the opposite of the gospel, it is a road to glory and wealth without a change of character or the dealing with the heart, love and sin. It appears almost to be glory without repentance, or walking without faith, but walking in commanding from your own spirit. It is just enough to stay christian but rarely is holiness, repentance and change of the heart ever preached about, it is just assumed. Instead this is replaced by the Holy Spirit who will do the work without words. Very odd.

It is emotionalism that drives people to initiate threads just like this one and also to consistently populate them with gossipy, slanderous drivel. It is WRONG to do this. Yep, God will judge it all.

The kingdom of heaven is the economy of appropriateness.

What the early church discovered was the rich tended to hate them, because the principles of wealth tended towards exploitation. The principles of justice, honesty and integrity tended towards letting things go, not hoarding or being selfish but sharing as the needs appeared.

Most of human history has been death, disease and an early death. We now live in a world of stunning technological success, which if linked to support, education, meeting needs should leave to a good life for all. The emphasis on abundance is as a blessing for obedient behaviour, not as a right or a mark of doing the right thing, or even something to aspire to. You will find most of christian history has focused on the rejection of wealth and seeking success in this world and a focus on community and service to others.

What is marked is the prosperity gospel supports selfishness, and making personal goals the core of your life, rather than the Lords goals, or the Kingdom of Heaven. The twist has been to say the personal goals are the fulfillment of the Kingdom of heaven, and world wealth is an indication of heavenly success. This turns so much of the gospel on its head, it demands a fuller analysis, but not suprisingly speaks to the poor who are seeking more for themselves and their families and literally is now possible through global trade expansion. So in communities where this change is happening, the churches are booming, but if your message is wealth means blessing, it must be true, look it is happening.

Lol. The people looking for integrity, righteousness and justice are at the doors of these preachers. They will fall just as the greed has lifted them high.

The simple reality is Latter Rain preachers know how bad the theology is they believe it but are silent.
What they preached openly is now not spoken but their "ministries" are still said to be blessed, even though they still are filled with greed and idolatry to money. It does not matter to me that you cannot face the truth, or the power of the gospel in love and sacrifice, but at least I know what your response is to reality, denial and vitriol, which is definately not good fruit.

May the Lord bless you with truth and conviction, and bring to light His reality in your heart, Amen.

Your poor understanding of how God raises up certain leaders in the Body of Christ and your stream of judgmental negative commentary is well noted. People are being saved every day as resultant fruit from Joyce Meyer's ministries all over the world. God is blessing that work with His integrity, righteousness and justice. You are blinded by your own preconceived notions, and are seeking to lead others down your own path.

The Lord Jesus Christ has blessed me with His truth and His conviction as to what the truth is, and it diverges from your own personal ideas....praise God.

1Co 1:26
For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
1Co 1:27
But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
1Co 1:28
And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
1Co 1:29
That no flesh should glory in his presence.
1Co 1:30
But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
1Co 1:31
That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

I invite you to actually learn what Paul is saying and in context of the times before you try to use that scripture to deny God's working in His people. It's a lie you are believing and now a lie you are trying to teach.

Provide scripture that gives a woman authority to preach/teach.

I believe the Scripture is already provided in my own last post?

Provide scripture that says that God deems men and women, racial differences or national differences as having anything to do with how He gifts His people. Do you really believe that Holy Spirit checks between the legs of a person before He blesses them with the ability to teach, preach or pastor?

Keep studying and asking God to show you His truth and He will.

I failed to find any scripture for you to provide, you are just a Joyce Meyer's lover. You cannot prove that woman can preach.
