Bless you Skylove! Well, truthfully? I'm not sure how I started cooking or how it is that I do it well... I suppose it's a God thing. You know... use the talents that you are given. I'm game to teach you if you'd like to learn. You wouldn't be my first distance learner when it comes to food.
My last student LITERALLY didn't know how to boil water. You laugh, but... she didn't know what boil meant. She's become fairly competent, not so afraid to try new things and will make substitutions. Let me know if you are interested... it's so fun to see a person 'get' cooking when they didn't.
And with thyme? You kinda put it in everything savory (meaning, not sweet). It's a very versatile herb, and very tasty!
