In reading your previous post, you seemed to have difficulty in differentiating between them. Sorry if I misunderstood.
Perhaps it might be advisable, then, not to use the word "the" with a small "c" church? Just a thought ...
No I don't have an issue in differentiating between the two, but I have talked to some on here that do have this problem.
Because some taken and believe the Church is the building they go to, but that is actually only just a title given to the building to confuse people. The true Church is the body of believers in Christ, and can be held in a house, tent, building, in a field, or wherever.
Some Catholics have this wrong outlook as some branches still teach that unless you are in the Catholic church you are not saved. Placing their denominational building above the true body of Christ !!!
A church building is still a church building no matter what they teach, and people need to be shown the truth to take the focus off the building they go to and put it to where the true Church really is. This is one thing the Apostle Paul mentioned and knew would come to pass also, and that is people stating that they are this or that and not that they are in Christ.
Back in his days people were going around saying I am of Apollos, or I am of Cephas, and so on.....
This is now happening today with people saying, I am of the Baptist, I am of the Protestant, I am of the Catholic, and so on and so on............People have taken and put their focus to much on the denomination they belong to !!!
I don't know how many times I have asked others how were they baptized, and the majority of the time they said their denomination instead of in Jesus name !!!
