I pray all the time things would follow the way that God's will be done....

This has nothing to do with a recount as it was a voted on by 9 Justices, and 5 voted in favor and 4 voted against.
Now a couple of them can come back and say they changed their stance, but do not see that happening as the great falling away is taking place in this world.

I don't argue with others at all, but at the same there is always to sides to a debate and we from the other side of the coin can not sit back and let others spread info they received from bias news sources that are not giving the whole truth.

There is a thing called friendly respectful debating which is not arguing, as arguing is when people get heated and start spewing junk and hurtful words toward each other. I have never done that to others on here, but instead have gotten that treatment slated toward me in return, showing their true fruits.

I will always disagree with those who either use only partial truths, use bias sources, and twist or do away with scriptures in the bible!!!

What i have seen you do is argue for the sake of argument, act as if you know all the facts when you clearly dont, and use the Bible as a weapon (albeit ineffectively).

This thread and threads before that i lurked, you have been the fly in the ointment.

Lets take a look at the concept of polling and some of the simple math behind it. The poll states 3.5% of the population, that would be About 11,200,000/320,000,000. The poll size was, while significantly larger than most polls, not the whole population, but was 60,000,000 people out of it, 18.75% of the population; a huge sampling.

This doesnt mean 11.2 million out of 60 million were gay. You have to remember basic division. The number 60 million was the denominator that was scaled to 320 million to give the full population. In this reverse engineering we will scale it back down. 320000000*0.1875=60000000 giving us our denominator. Of course you have to do the same for the numerator, 11200000*.1875=2100000. This means out of 60 million people, they had 2.1 million people answer that they were lgbtq.

---------

Sampling public opinion, George Gallup once said, is like sampling soup: One spoonful can reflect the taste of the whole pot,
if the soup is well-stirred. In other words, it’s all about finding a sample that reflects the larger population. Polling is based on the laws of probability. According to probability theory, it’s not necessary to sample the opinions of all 300 million Americans; a much smaller sample can reflect the larger population—if that sample is truly representative. So in surveying the opinions of the whole country, pollsters have to sample a proportional percentage of men and women; Republicans, Democrats, and independents; rural and urban residents; and so on. That sample group, moreover, has to reach a certain size threshold to be statistically accurate. For national polls, most pollsters use a sample of 1,500 as a rule of thumb. A sample that size will accurately reflect the whole within about 3 percentage points, a variance that statisticians call the margin of error.

Well if you all trust in polls being so accurate then I guess all other Republican candidates can concede running for president because most polls have Jeb Bush winning the Republican nomination. And if there is that many Republicans who want to see another Bush in office after the messes the other Bushes polices caused....................Then all I can do is shake my head !!!

Now you are adding deflecting to your resume. Polls change, opinions on politicians much more and more quickly than someones sexual orientation (or is it just a flight of fancy choice?). Opinions on politicians also have a a larger statistical error as they do not poll nearly as many people from nearly as many places, usually polling in the tens of thousands. Some polls do gather large numbers and even then they have to admit to 1-3 percentage points error potential due to the fickle nature of that poll. Please read up on statistics before you continue to roll down the list of fallacies.

This ruling will open up numerous cans of worms........like when the gay couples demand to be married in a church setting (building) and they are refused the right to use a building where a church meets......lawsuits, loss of tax exempt status etc......this will spiral out of control and could lead to many churches shutting the doors and or be forced to meet in homes and or in secret.....

The christian church has always struggled when it was in the majority position. This pendulum swing may lead to a revival in genuine faith in Christ.

They maybe your perspective and opinion, but when you have those who continue to place one group against another, as those who continue to demean and belittle others by constantly putting them down. Then by God's word we are told to squash this attitude because that does not come from a loving, merciful, and forgiving nature that we as born again believers are to walk.

I am not deflecting anything and yes polls do change because they are not based on accurate numbers as they are just estimated guesses based on a certain number of individuals polled, and not the whole population. I have taken and shown a clear example of how polls are not accurate, as they do not represent the feelings of the whole group. I have met and talked to a number of Republicans who do not want Jeb Bush to win the nomination, yet most polls have him winning that nomination right now. So this is a proven fact that polls are not accurate !!!

Are political polls accurate? CA recall study of 20 polls says...NEVER TRUST POLLS AGAIN!

Both of these links show how inaccurate polls can be and the second one even shows only 1 in 20 polls he did was accurate, and another statement says only about 40% of the time can they be reliable..........

You should actually read the websites you are posting.

from the first link:
The most reliable? “Surveys conducted by professional polling organizations on a periodic basis which repeatedly ask the same question — such as, ‘Do you intend to buy a car in the next three months?’ — are fully scientific and useful,” says J. Michael Steele, Wharton professor of statistics. “Even though we really don’t know what a person means when he says ‘yes,’ we can make hay out of the fact that last year, 15% said ‘yes’ and this year only 5% said ‘yes.'” An example of a polling company that fits this profile is the Gallup organization and the Gallup Poll, considered a leading barometer of public opinion.

It also talks about how bad polls (which the homosexuality poll was not a bad poll but was scientifically strenuous) are used to influence opinion, for example saying jeb is the leading candidate influences people to choose him.

And for the second site:

the BLOGGER got all his material from here
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/Congressional/California_Recall3.html
this site shows also that the more strenuous polling companies get it right.

I seriously recommend you actually read websites before you post them.

Who is placing who against who? All i see is you placing yourself against everybody, twisting scripture into the shape of a gun with which you can shoot little unloving bullets of disgust at them because they are worried. Why are they worried? Because we have been placed as the opposition to the ever growing walk towards immorality in this new sexual revolution.

I did read it and notice how what you posted from the site, the first part is posed as a question.
It is not saying that it is accurate and goes on to say how bad they are because it is only based on public opinion, and how badly peoples opinion can be influenced one way or the other to get a falsified result.....

Once again that is your opinion as I have been in plenty of threads having friendly respectful debates and talks with others.
Many of which have agreed with me and others have not, but it still stayed friendly and respectful between all of us. There has only been 3 people on here who have gotten heated with me and turned the debate into a heated name calling, belittling, and even gone as far as condemning in their responses.

I in turn just stayed respectful and kept responding to them in a loving tone even though they spewed all that hatred at me.
I am not twisting scripture my friend, that twisting is coming from those who I call out because they litterally take clear scripture and take it to say something it doesn't.

Example: James 5:19-20

People have tried to twist this verse to say it is not referring to eternal life, however James clearly says the one who falls away from the faith their "soul" will not be saved unless they return to the Lord. (Repentance or their sinful ways they have gone back to.)

The bible says only God can destroy/kill the soul (Matthew 10:28) and this is done when it is cast into the lake of fire.
The word soul here in the Greek is psuche, and Strong's and Thayer's show this is how it is applied in this verse;

b. "the (human) soul in so far as it is so constituted that by the right use of the aids offered it by God it can attain its highest end and secure eternal blessedness, the soul regarded as a moral being designed for everlasting life": 3 John 1:2; ἀγρύπνειν ὑπέρ τῶν ψυχῶν, Hebrews 13:17;ἐπιθυμίαι, αἵτινες στρατεύονται κατά τῆς ψυχῆς, 1 Peter 2:11; ἐπίσκοπος τῶν ψυχῶν, 1 Peter 2:25; σῴζειν τάς ψυχάς,James 1:21; ψυχήν ἐκ θανάτου, from eternal death, James 5:20;σωτηρία ψυχῶν, 1 Peter 1:9; ἁγνίζειν τάς ψυχάς ἑαυτῶν, 1 Peter 1:22; (τάς ψυχάς πιστῷ κτίστῃ παρατίθεσθαι, 1 Peter 4:19).

The christian church has always struggled when it was in the majority position. This pendulum swing may lead to a revival in genuine faith in Christ.

Well.....like I said today...God used persecution to get the church at Jerusalem to spread out and do what it was commanded to do....that is why I used the words "could lead to" in my post.......time will tell for sure...one thing is clear b Romans chapter 1......The end result of rejecting God, holding the truth is a position of unrighteousness (not right) and refusing to retain God in our knowledge is a reprobate mind void of judgment and the embracement of sexual perversion.....The proverbial straw that breaks the camel's back has been added to the (pack) and judgment lies around the corner....Leviticus 20 <---God abhors the nations that embrace sexual perversion and will judge.......!

Unless someone better shows up, yup. I've already conceded. Jeb's next.

Yeah, you'd be the perfect oyster irritant farmer. LOL :p LA LA LA LA
I wasn't even thinking farmer. I was thinking I'm that scratchy little piece of sand the soft-skinned oyster is working so hard to cover up with pretty smooth stuff. lol
