The point being, the evidence for the existence of mermaids is about the same as the evidence for dinosaurs coexisting with humans.

Aren't you bearing false witness by coming back under false pretenses. I noticed that you are a lot younger than you used to be.
I have never heard of Dr. Dino but this I know Genesis1:-3. G-d created heaven and Earth and all that’s win them and beneath them and then the fall of man when sin entered the world death entered the world, so yes man and dinosaurs lived together. If you have questions and need science, Answers in Genesis is the perfect place to find answers after the Bible which is the infallible, inerrant word of G-d.

I was so glad to see that this thread which JackH was boosting up and ranting on had finally dropped off the front page.
Very disturbed to see it back again, but seeing as JackH and his sock puppet were both banned, I am all good!
I think it is ok to discuss options, but as a young earth creationist, I was sick of the jaded lies JackH was telling, to say nothing of his confrontational and condescending manner.
Let's let this drop to the bottom, and hopefully if this topic comes up again, we can discuss it like rational adults, instead of allowing a raving madman to spew his garbage against YEC.

i believe God created the moon by merely speaking it into existence. All things that were were made were made by God. Therefore when there was NOTHING, God said "Atom" and an Atom was created. He said "Light" and light was created, He said "Man" and man was created.
Also the question i asked, apparently i must inform you that it is a hypothetical question. To try to show a point that if God wants to make a planet and moon instantly that He could do so, He is God. If i asked another hypothetical question would you comment that it was silly also and not answer it?
Could God make a full grown Tree appear instantly? Are you then saying God can't do that? And if God could do that, because He is GOD, how old would the rings in that tree indicate the Tree actually is?
Could God create the Earth in 7 days, as the Word of God plainly teaches He did? Sure He could, HE is GOD. leave it to the created to question the creator. God and God and could have created the Earth and moon instantly, but He did it in seven days to establish a week for us. 7 thousand Earth years is but a week in Heaven. The Day and the week were established before the Earth was even thought of, it existed in Heaven prior to the Earth ever being created.
Here is another silly question for you, How old were the Fish that Jesus created out of the few fishes? Or do you not believe God can create things instantly? Or you do not believe the Bible.

It is apparent you have not studied how the KJV came to be. Those who were assigned to translate it into the KJV were very meticulous to make sure it was translated exactly as the original manuscripts. The Scribes in those days were KILLED if they did not scribe 100% accuracy. You could not become a scribe if you made any error whatsoever. In the days the KJV was being made, Scribes that never made any mistakes were chosen for the task. Scribes in those days NEVER added to what they were translating, they were very meticulous to COPY word for word.
Please do some research how the KJV came to be.
