In a nutshell, the evolution theory is like saying
I found a sandwich on the kitchen table. No one made the sandwich but it has been sitting there for millions of years
The point being, the evidence for the existence of mermaids is about the same as the evidence for dinosaurs coexisting with humans.
And mermaids are in the Bible, just like dinosaurs.
A mermaid swallowed Jonah.
It's allegory.

I just posted the following message on the "When the Supreme Court Approved Gay Marriage, What ALL Happened to the USA?" thread:
Attention Prodigal (Moderator):
I request that you remove the ban on my user name JackH immediately.
You attack the testimony of JESUS CHRIST every time you promote your evo rabbit trail nonsense.
You are no christian.
But your testimony ,in fact is found in romans;1 where it verifies that evolution begins with idolatry and ends with homosexuality,so it does harmonise that you would be on that vain.
Of course you can find thousands of evolutionist who swear carbon dating works but that's part of the religion ...carbon dating has never worked...in fact its proven to be a complete hoax.
LOL.
You could not have proved my point any better about some Christians calling other Christians heretics.
Evolution begins with idolatry and ends with homosexuality you say?
What a load of mindless drivel.
Did you know that bearing false witness is one of the 10 Commandments?

Try something new.
Learn something:
"Radiocarbon dating can easily establish that humans have been on the earth for over twenty thousand years, at least twice as long as creationists are willing to allow. Therefore it should come as no surprise that creationists at the Institute for Creation Research (ICR) have been trying desperately to discredit this method for years. They have their work cut out for them, however, because radiocarbon (C-14) dating is one of the most reliable of all the radiometric dating methods."

We are not talking a philosophical conclusion, we are talking a scientific conclusion.
From the Wikipedia article on Young Earth Creationism:
Since the mid-20th century, young Earth creationists - starting with Henry M. Morris (1918-2006) - have devised and promoted a pseudoscientific explanation called "creation science" as a basis for a religious belief in a supernatural, geologically recent creation.[SUP][7][/SUP] Scientific evidence from numerous scientific disciplines contradicts Young Earth creationism, showing the age of the universe as 13.798±0.037 billion years, the formation of the Earth as at least 4.5 billion years ago, and the first appearance of life on Earth as occurring at least 2.5 billion years ago.[SUP][8][/SUP][SUP][9][/SUP][SUP][10][/SUP][SUP][11][/SUP]
Are you a scientist? I am. What you have just posted is complete rubbish! I refuse to believe that you are a liar so I can only conclude that you have been deceived by someone who is a liar. The following is an article on radiometric date by a respected working scientist who is also a Christian. Please take the time to read it carefully.
Radiometric Dating
Tell me, if God was going to create a planet and a moon.
And God said "Planet" and poof there it was, and God said "moon" and poof there it was,
tell me, how old would scientists say the ROCKS are on that moon if they were to examine the ROCKS a few minutes after God made that moon?
What? you don't believe God can do that?
Of all the arguments from 7-day creationists, this is by far the silliest.
Do you believe He could have made the moon from green cheese ?
Yes ? Therefore he did !

That is ridiculous.
How many of the translators of the KJV were experts in Koine Greek?
