How do you explain why Jesus Christ prayed to the Father if they were one Person? The Unitarian Monotheist position is not coherent.
10.Marcion teachings 110-160 AD
Marcion coined the terms Old and New Testament. This term “Old Testament” is in the KJV only once in 2 Corinthians 3:14. The term “Old Testament” has now replaced the correct term of “Ancient Covenant.” That “Ancient Covenant” has been “renewed” by Christ. The term “New Testament” has replaced the correct term of “Renewed Covenant.” In relation, the current Covenant is an invitation by God's own Jewish people to enable Gentiles to be grafted into the Kingdom of God (the olive tree). Paul was of the tribe of Benjamin, an Israelite Jew. See Romans 11:17 In truth, how can Gentile religion reject the Jew? (Romans 2:10)
By replacing the word “covenant” with “testament” Marcion and other pagan theologians wrestled Jeremiah 31:31-34 away from the foundational teachings of Jesus Christ, and His apostles. Marcion also divided Jesus and His followers away from God the Father and turned Christ into a self sustained deity that opposed the (by Marcion's own terms) the “Old Testament.” We can thank Marcion the heretic for implanting such contrary values against the Unified and Eternal Word of the living God.
