There can also be some cultural angles to this.
Most traditional Asian families want their children to marry someone who is of the same Asian race and in my particular race, not adopted, as I am, but "a real Asian." It can vary widely depending on family situations, personal opinions, and whether someone is willing to break from family traditions and in some cases, blatantly go against their parents wishes.

I'm not a guy, but I am Asian and have never had a romantic relationship with anyone of my "own" specific race either.)
Oh, and I also hear that Kenthomas is also quite a hot commodity, seeing as he's a tall, blue-eyed white guy (very RARE.) *Joke from another thread in which a woman of another race posted an ad looking for a rare white guy, seeing as white guys apparently were very rare in her location.*
