Dear Sister, you have many brothers and sisters who are here for you; to talk together, pray together, and to encourage one another. Whether it be at the foot of the Cross or the Empty Tomb. Be encouraged. And remember, infinitely more important than us being here for each other is the glorious Truth that God is with us; He is with you, always. Lean on Him and share your heart, and may you truly feel His love reign down upon you. God bless you. :)
Now you are really making me cry... Thank you for your beautiful words. Tears are healing.

So to answer on this topic, I think we all can agree that sarcasm is an emotion or feeling or a state of being in some manner which operates to manifest itself outside the body.
Scripture teaches us that God does not reside in the flesh of our thoughts or feelings , Scripture teaches us that out of these come evil , malice and etc… Ephesians 4:31/ Colosians 3:8/1 Peter 2:1
So now I ask you, do you believe that Jesus acted outside of the presence of the Father which for Him was His body.

God put me in charge. If you have a problem with what i am led by the Holy Spirit to speak- by all means, talk to Him about it. Dont shoot the messenger.

What does the bible say about arrogance? God hates a proud look. I bessech you brother, the listen to the Holy Spirit that empowers us, and realize that arrogance and pride are not my motives, yet only edifying the body of Christ. We should be diligent in speaking life and love, not hate and derision.

God bless you my brother. Seek a humble heart, and a greater harvest of spiritual fruit. Above all things, Love.
Let he who is without sin cast the first stone... or when God put yup in charge did He neglect to tell you?

THUS SAITH THE WORD OF GOD.... Remember these idle words, you WILL be held accountable for them on the day of judgment. Repent brother, a word fitly spoken is like salve to a wound, but unwarranted reproof is the art of fools.
Give me break, sounds more like the accuser of the brethern

I want to say I don't know why I feel so broken hearted. But I do know why, at least in part. The burdens on my heart have been great, burdens placed there by life, by my own wrong doing, by my desire to understand that which has not been given to me to understand. I feel this weighing on my heart and my heart buckles under the strain, but this is a good thing. My heart breaks, and is then opened. I feel my heart opening. It hurts, but it is full of love. Not my love, for my love is often fickle. The love God has given me is not fickle. It beckons me to stand in His strength. I know I have none of my own. I weep for my lack of strength, and the love of God.

The wicked are in need of repentance brother. The Word of God says that God is angry with the wicked EVERY DAY. They need to change the way they speak to others, because they speak not out of love, but of hate and ridicule. I am but a man called to edify the body of Christ. Heed my teaching brother, in the name of Jesus Christ and by the power of the Holy Spirit i do speak, not of my self or of my desires, but of His ways and His commandments.

Your accusation is an error, brother. I do not bypass the cross. Woe unto me if i lead a man not unto Christ, yet deeper into resentment and derision. I have admonished many to come to Christ and seek forgiveness for hardheartedness and closed ears. I now call upon ALL men to examine themselves, and compare their attitudes to the scriptures and to that of Christ. Are we falling short? do we need to repent of hard heartedness? Quickly, i adjure you. Come to the cross and lay down your burdens Utah, whatever has happened to harden your heart, He can give you rest. Come.

I am grieved that a man of God calls for holiness and speaking with love, and he is jeered as suffering foolish destruction. Jesus, Paul, Peter, Timothy, Phoebe, and Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John and Priscilla..all these men and women of God did preach the message of Jesus: faith, holiness and sanctification, repentance and love. Yet a modern man of God repeats their cry, and is labeled prideful and foolish? Woe unto you Utah, for you have fulfilled prophecy that many in these last days would be mockers, highminded lovers of self, boastful, and having a form of Godliness but denying the power thereof.

In Love brother, i beg you to please see the patient call i am letting. REPENT! Hear the Spirit of God. Love. Not hate. I only know the truth behind what i say because i too have misused my voice in the past, and repented. I speak as a man changed by God. I was guilty, and now i am saved from my own tongue. Please brother, reconsider your thoughts and your ways. Speak out of love....the tongue sets on fire, a fire than nothing can quench.
Servant, I will ponder what you say for two reason: first, because there is some truth in what you have just shared; second, your above post is shared in love, not arrogance.

Regardless of how strong you become in the faith, always, always, always be humble about it, sharing God's love and grace in a gentle, loving manner, not in a Pharisaic manner. I don't have much room to talk, because my tongue can be razor sharp, but I only use the sharp edges when confronting Pharisees and mockers, and not with brethren like me who fully understand our need for grace.

Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;

As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

My heart is grieved that my words are not percieved by the faithful in Christ, as loving....I am weeping in sorrow because i love you and i am telling you all the truth, and i am percieved as evil. Father forgive me if i have not spoken your truth in a loving manner! I am only trying to urge them in the most Godly way possible to respect each other, to love...because I KNOW THE PAIN IT CAUSES....

I don't understand your particular set of circumstances, but my heart can feel your pain. I'm crying with you, Sister Magenta. I know you know you'll get through this. But in the meantime, I want to tell you I love you in Jesus and I'm sending spiritual hugs of comfort to you.

Lord Jesus, I ask that my sister's heart would heal and that You would flood her mind with a greater vision of Your beautiful face and Your tender heart toward her. Thank You, faithful Savior.

Is sarcasm a worthy Christian attribute? No. So why is there so much of it when someone has a different opinion? Some people need to realize that your attitudes written here are recorded eternally, and they reveal the true heart behind your statements, and that does NOT bode well for you on judgment day. The sarcastic are prideful, thinking they know much, and should humble themselves....REPENT of sarcasm. Its ungodly.
I find that in a debate, you want to use reason to win. When you resort to nastiness, you've pretty much lost the debate.

"And so it was, at noon, that Elijah mocked them and said 'Cry aloud, for he is a god; either he is meditating, or he is busy, or he is on a journey, or perhaps he is sleeping and must be awakened.'" - 1 Kings 18:27

Sure sounds like sarcasm to me.
very true but not a good argument yes he was sarcastic but the bible does not go into whether that was right or wrong btu I do know this love your naber as yourself and same with the ones who wrong you is it a good thing to be snarky, rude or sarcastic to anyone ?

I am not saying I have not done this I am trying to fix this in me as well.

But MY sarcasm isnt hurtful- sometimes i see some sarcasm here that is directly intended to maim if not shame a person into remission- its really gross at times....Like i stated- there are differing types of sarcasm and the type i am pointing at is the intentionally hurtful kind?

Son, seriously you need to set your drama back a few notches. I say that in gentleness, not meanness. You're reacting to people rather than responding. There's a difference. You're like a firecracker rather than an oil lamp. There's no need to get despondent about people or with yourself. We are all growing in the grace of Jesus and if you don't have patience and mercy towards others, you certainly don't perceive that patience and mercy of God for yourself.

How do I know that? Because you're on the defense too much. You're making contradictory statements. We all get defensive at times, but I'm addressing you right now. This "God put me in charge" and "THUS SAITH THE WORD OF GOD.... " stuff is over the top. And now you say you're grieving that you're perceived as unloving.

Solution: STOP IT. Problem solved. :) Humbling yourself doesn't mean groveling on the ground. It means seeing the truth, admitting it to God in your heart, and asking Jesus to show you the right way. The right way would be to LISTEN to people. They're asking you to stop being judgmental and proclaiming that you're "THE" appointed messenger of God. You're our brother in Christ. We're the family of God. We all help each other grow through mercy, kindness, understanding, love and forgiveness.

We are all ambassadors for the Lord Jesus. We're all like iron sharpening iron, helping each other and encouraging one another. Does that make sense? :)

God put me in charge.
In charge of what, specifically?

My heart is grieved that my words are not percieved by the faithful in Christ, as loving....I am weeping in sorrow because i love you and i am telling you all the truth, and i am percieved as evil. Father forgive me if i have not spoken your truth in a loving manner! A man of God admonishes fellow believers to speak kindly to one another, to understand that our conversations should be holy in nature, and not inteneded to hurt, and that we should righteously judge situations and sin, as such. A man of God admonishes men and women alike to be humble and speak with a contrite heart, to bring about fruits of holiness from young believers who are in love with Jesus...exhorting that the seek to avoid strife. I am the man of God who faithfully carried my cross- and this is the kind of reply suffered.

Disagreeing with Holy Scripture and loving rebuke, and replying with condescension and doubt, do only gender strife....which the Lord will avenge. An unrepentant hard heart does little for the kingdom of God, and in many cases hinders the work within, and without. I forgive you for sowing bad seed next. In time, i pray you will find it in your heart to accept the fact that some men, led by the Holy Spirit, DO speak for God - by quoting scripture, and that you are subject to those Holy Spirit led men.

Please repent of having a stiff neck and kicking against the pricks. The Word of God has exposed your true nature, and what has issued forth from your mind has revealed the motive and darkness in your dark heart. You do despise teachers of truth and holiness. Repent of your hard hearted rebellion and humble yourself before the altar of the Lord. Pray for His peace to be with you, and that His Holy Spirit would cause you to bear fruit worthy of being called Christian.

In Love i beseech you to reconsider your ways, and repent. There are things the Lord hates, and hands swift to shed innocent blood are one of them. Anyone who hates without cause is guilty of murder.

in the name of Jesus Christ, our High Priest and mediator. Amen.

I am the least of these servants, holding the ladder steady. My wisdom is from God and i am worthless without Him. O what a wretch i am, that i am called to serve in this place....it is but an opportunity that i did not find myself worthy to fulfil, yet HE HAS MADE ME ABLE. Praise God for sanctification and truth and holiness and the wonderful Spirit of God! Praise Him!!
Really? "Not thy will, but mine be done, Lord." Got it. Another iggied for being too full of himself.

Lets clear this up right now - I am grieved that YOU hardhearted children refuse Godly admonishment given in a loving way! A simple change of attitude is in order with several of you! You think there is nothing wrong with the way you treat people and when someone calls you on your arrogant and belittling speech, you get even nastier. Even if i were the Apostle Paul you would still sneer and think yourself above scriptural rebuke!! REPENT!

I COULD CARE LESS IF I AM "PERCIEVED" AS UNLOVING BECAUSE I SPEAK WHAT I AM LED TO SAY BY THE HOLY SPIRIT. Does it grieve my spirit that you refuse to listen? Yes. Does it suprise me? No. Wicked people like you are a dime a dozen. You are awful highminded to think that your lack of respect and disdain for the word of God will not be challenged. There are men of God who wont stand for your trash- you do know thid right? If i were your pastor i would drag you out of my church and ban you as heretical until your little conceited phase was over and you started speaking with a bit of respect....but thats where this problem originates- poor pastoral roles, IF ANY. It is really hard for me to envision you submitting to any teaching not already concocted in your disobedient mind. It blows my mind that a professing Christian gives herself permission to speak so brashly when confronted with an OBVIOUS SPIRITUAL PROBLEM. Its called DENIAL...you may want to look it up.

As far as "contradictory statements", none have been made on my part and you would do well not to embarass yourself by making false accusations. I had to clarify the "type" of sarcasm for those here who cannot use basic logic to discern the subject matter of the OP, ie... what type of sarcasm is hurtful, but other than that it has been nothing short of what God would expect from a spiritual leader He has chosen.

As far as being "on the defense"? That is just nonsense. I am held in contempt by you all for being defensive? Thats why your acting like a child? Because i am defensive? Quite the contrary, actually: My position that people should speak in a more Christlike way is too OFFENSIVE for your thin skin.

SOLUTION: Heed the words of a man whom is called by God to speak at times. If i say something, its because i am led to say it and am actually required to say it. Would you denounce Paul and admonish him to STOP his "telling us to quit acting like hateful sinners"? Of course you would! After all, you just cannot have anyone speaking the truth in here!

You've got one thing right- Im your brother in Christ- but i have EVERY RIGHT to tell you to stop speaking to each other the way you have been- and start thinking about the person you are speaking to. If you find the scripture and message offensive- CHANGE YOUR ATTITUDE AND QUIT BEING HATEFUL. You have seen passion and love when the reply warranted it. You have also seen staunch defense of the right to speak truth.

I leave you with this- WOULD YOU REBUKE PAUL OR TIMOTHY???
