Actually the Catholic Church did not start with Peter and its you and the rest of the Catholics who are propagating misinformation. Its you Catholics who are the bigots spreading your lies as Truths from God when we all know they are lies from Satan you God.

The Protestant Church is Christs Church. The Catholic Church is Satan's Church.
Jesus said that where 2 or 3 are gathered in His name that He is in their midst. That is the true church.

Where in the apostolic tradition from God did God ever say Mary was without sin?

Romans 3:23
[SUP]23 [/SUP] for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

Why fordman are you calling God a liar by teaching Mary was without sin?

So fordman why do you claim only Mary was blessed by God when clearly He said "THOSE who hear the word of God, and observe it" are Blessed.

Do you even know the meaning of THOSE fordman?

Those; used to indicate two or more persons.

Could it be fordman you never went to school and learned to think? How can Luke 11:27-28 be referring only to Mary when Jesus used the word "Those"?

I have seen this a lot in what you say. You seem to have trouble with understanding the meanings of words like did and teach and mary and those.

Could it be the real problem is you do not understand what you read?

You are wasting you time trying to teach the Catholics what God says in the Scriptures Mike. Its what Satan says that the Catholics want to hear, not what God says.

This has been the trademark of the Catholics for the last 1000 years ever since they were founded in the 8th century.

That's a toughie. I have to choose between believing the Encyclopedia Britannica or believing Fordman. I guess I'll go with the Encyclopedia Britannica, an authoritative independent witness.

Apostolic tradition that only the Catholic Church can claim because there was no other church, no matter how much you lie about the origins of Catholicism
You do your cause no good when you talk such rubbish. The Roman Catholic church has NO valid claim to apostolic succession. For the first four centuries all large churches were INDEPENDENT. That is the Fact of history. Let anyone read an independent history and they will know that this is true.

And I replied... " Icons, statues and candles....Yes! To worship Mary? No!
If you really beleive that Catholics worship Mary, I would challenge you to go back to this church, and ask every Parishioner, Nun, or Priest, leaving or entering, if they are there for the purpose of worshiping The Blessed Virgin Mary. To find the truth, go to the source. I guarantee, if you do, you will walk away with a whole differnt way of thinking.
Don't take the word from the likes of valiant, Jackson123,or kenallen that have an anti-Catholic agenda, and despise the Catholic Church and her teachings. Go find out for yourself! If going to this church you speak if is not possible, go to the nearist Catholic Church, and do the same."

For example:

    1. Gregory XVI., in 1832,

  1. Says, in his Encyclical Letter [MIRARI VOS], published August 15th of that year: † "But that all things may have a prosperous and happy issue, let us raise our eyes and hands to the most holy Virgin Mary, who only destroys all heresies, who is our greatest hope; yea, the entire ground of our hope.

    Prayer to the Blessed Virgin
Most Holy and Immaculate Virgin! O my Mother! Thou who art the Mother of my Lord, the Queen of the world, the advocate, hope, and refuge of sinners! I, the most wretched among them, now come to thee.I worship thee, great Queen, and give thee thanks for the many favors thou hast bestowed on my in the past; most of all do I thank thee for having saved me from hell, which I had so often deserved. I love thee, Lady most worthy of all love, and, by the love which I bear thee, I promise ever in the future to serve thee, and to do what in me lies to win others to thy love.In thee I put all my trust, all my hope of salvation. Receive me as thy servant, and cover me with the mantle of thy protection, thou who art the Mother of mercy! And since thou hast so much power with God, deliver me from all temptations, or at least obtain for me the grace ever to overcome them. From thee I ask a true love of Jesus Christ, and the grace of a happy death. O my Mother! By thy love for God I beseech thee to be at all times my helper, but above all at the last moment of my life. Leave me not until thou seest me safe in heaven, there for endless ages to bless thee and sing thy praises. Such is my hope. Amen.― (Prayer of St. Alphonse Liguori, 3 yrs indulgence,Raccolta, 342)

  1. (Bull Ineffabilis Deus 1854)
    18. It is therefore, a pleasure for us, a full century having passed since the Pontiff of immortal memory, Pius IX, solemnly proclaimed this singular privilege of the Virgin Mother of God, to summarize the whole doctrinal position and conclude in these words of the same Pontiff, asserting that this doctrine "vouched for in Sacred Scripture according to the interpretation of the Fathers, is handed down by them in so many of their important writings, is expressed and celebrated in so many illustrious monuments of renowned antiquity, and proposed and confirmed by the greatest and highest decision of the Church", so that to pastors and faithful there is nothing "more sweet, nothing dearer than to worship, venerate, invoke and praise with ardent affection the Mother of God conceived without stain of original sin.” (Ibidem.)

  1. 33. But where - as is the case in almost all dioceses, there exists a church in which the Virgin Mother of God is worshipped with more intense devotion, thither on stated days let pilgrims flock together in great numbers and publicly and in the open give glorious expression to their common Faith and their common love toward the Virgin Most Holy. ...

As all know, there are many sacred edifices here, in which she is proposed for the devotion of the Roman people; but the greatest without doubt is the Liberian Basilica [St. Mary Major], in which the mosaics of Our predecessor of pious memory, Sixtus III, still glisten, an outstanding monument to the Divine maternity of the Virgin Mary, and in which the "salvation of the Roman people" (Salus Populi Romani) benignly smiles.

"By the will of God, the most Blessed Virgin Mary was INSEPARABLY JOINED WITH CHRIST IN ACCOMPLISHING THE WORK OF MAN’S REDEMPTION so that our salvation flows from the love of Jesus Christ and His sufferings, intimately UNITED with the love and sorrows of His Mother."

To continue to claim Catholics hate God is silly
That is not entirely accurate. If we read Romans chapter one we see that all unregenerate men reject the God and Jesus of the bible and change the image of God into things they find more comfortable.

There are doubtless regenerated souls in the RCC but they are extremely rare and even harder to see because they are cloaked in the midst of heresy.

I only wonder how many RCC's read and know what these encyclicals entail?? Are they unwitting dupes or simply ignorant by convenience?

Luke 11:27-28
27 And it came about while He said these things, one of the women in the crowd raised her voice, and said to Him, " Blessed is the womb that bore You, and the breasts at which You nursed."
28 But He said, "On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God, and observe it."

"Contrary" means just the opposite.

What happened here was a women said Mary was Blessed. Jesus said on the contrary which means just the opposite that THOSE who hear the Word and obey the Word are Blessed.

"Those" mean other people usually 2 or more people, those does not mean Mary and only Mary was Blessed.

In the verses 27, 28 Jesus is telling us that its not Mary only that was Blessed but that all those who have and hear the Word of God and obey and observe then are the ones that are Blessed and blessed more than Mary.

Maybe fordman you need some help in understanding what is the meaning of words. You might want to ask an adult what a word means so you can truly understand what God is saying in the Scriptures.

On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God, and observe it." ...Luke 11:28
Therefore i am more Blessed than Mary.

To continually claim Catholics are True Christians is silly.

How can you even claim to be a True Brother in Christ mwc68 when all i see are lies and insults coming out of your mouth?

Can there be any Salvation in a Church that Worships Mary? You do know mwc68 that Pope John Paul II did Worship Mary as his God? There are many pictures of Pope John Paul II on his knees in front of a statue of Mary praying to her as his God.

Its a shame Pope John Paul II chose to spend Eternity in the Lake of Fire instead on in Heaven with the rest of us True Christians.

Yes tourist Jesus did say if two or more are gathered in HIS name He is in the mist of them. He did not say its the True Church who were gathered.

Why do you Catholics see nothing wrong with twisting the Scriptures from God to say what YOU want it to say???

Do you not know tourist that God will hold you accountable for the Evil you have done in His name?

Say hello to Pope John Paul II while you are in the Lake of fire.

Its amazing the hatred mwc68 has for God and His Truths. Pope John Paul II never was a Christian mwc68. He was a True Catholic, Worshiping Mary as his God to the end.
