Bahous, I suggest that you study the Bible. It is the word of God. I know that you, like all Muslims, consider the Bible to be inaccurate and that it contains many errors. I want you to consider two things very sincerely:

1. Where could the Christians go to for guidance after their Lord was crucified and killed? The Bible, the word of God was their refuge and their guide. Muslims consider God to be just and loving. How could a loving and just God allow His word to have so many errors to be of no use to His followers? One must judge fairly. The word was available first in narratives and then put to paper. Even if it contains some errors, these errors do not detract from its critical usefulness to the believers. To believe otherwise, is to say that God is not just and that is contrary to what Muslims believe in.

2. Christians are considered the people of the Book by Muslims. Muslims believe that Christians need to follow Muhammad. They believe that Jesus Christ prepared them for the coming of Muhammad. How can Muslims possibly expect this, if they believe that the written guidance, the Bible, that the Christians have is inaccurate and of no use to them? How else could the Christians have been prepared if it were not for the Bible?

Please judge fairly.

Therefore since both positions cannot be reconciled, we can clearly see the Jesus of the Bible and the Jesus of the Quran, cannot both be the same person. In addition to these differences, the Jesus Islam and the Quran have other differences, which can be clearly seen.

According to Islam, Jesus did not die on the cross but was taken up to Allah, it only appeared that he died. However, according to the Quran he will return to get married and die. This completely contradicts the Bible, which clearly teaches, Jesus died on the cross for our sins, was resurrected to never die again.

The view of Jesus “not dying on the cross” is not unique to Islam. The position of Islam is remarkably similar to the Gnostic teaching of Basilides, a first century Gnostic, who taught Jesus was not crucified because Jesus changed forms to look like Simon of Cyrene, and Simon was made to look like Jesus. Jesus then watched the crucifixion and laughed, returning to Heaven. Islam believes Jesus did not die on the cross, but only appeared to die, Jesus was taken up into heaven, like the Jesus Basilides presented.

"Wherefore he did not himself suffer death, but Simon, a certain man of Cyrene, being compelled, bore the cross in his stead; so that this latter being transfigured by him, that he might be thought to be Jesus, was crucified through ignorance and error, while Jesus himself received the form of Simon, and, standing by, laughed at them. For since he was an incorporeal power, and the Nous (mind) of the unborn father, he transfigured himself as he pleased, and thus ascended to him who had sent him, deriding them, inasmuch as he could not be laid hold of and was invisible to all.....If any one, therefore, he declares, confesses the crucified, that man is still a slave, and under the power of those who formed our bodies; but he who denies him has been freed from these beings, and is acquainted with the dispensation of the unborn father." (Irenaeus, 120-202 "Agaisnt Heresies", Book 1, Chapter 24, DOCTRINES OF SATURNINUS AND BASILIDES).

In the sixth century, many of the heretical Christian sects fled to the security of the Arabian Desert, bringing with them their heretical teachings and writings. There is a good possibility Mohammad developed his ideas presented in the Quran, from material presented by the Gnostics about Jesus not dying on the cross, but a image presented to look like Jesus. In this case, Simon of Cyrene, many Muslim commentators have speculated Judas was made to look like Jesus among others, Mohammad.

Invite him to learn about Jesus not Isa, he knows about Isa.

We didn't just turn to the Bible, they were and we are aided by the Holy Spirit and He is what guides us into truth. Without Gods gracious gift of the Holy Spirit the Bible would be a nonsensical mess. When the Holy Spirit guies us the Bible becomes The Living Word!

I'm not exactly clear about what your purpose is here. Are you seeking Jesus and wanting to know Who He is? Or are you trying to convert the Christians on this site to your Muslim beliefs?

yes, He came to be made to death, to take our place.
because even though as you say, you are Muslim, and i will assume you follow the Qu'ran and try to live righteously, as you also admit, you are still a sinner - and so am i.

this is to show His great love for us! because we are forever in need of mercy, even when we do all that we can do to try to be worthy of Him.

this, He did, in order that we, who are dead because of our sin, can be redeemed. a price has to be paid for us, and God Himself paid this price -- how great is His love! how great is His mercy!!
if no price was paid, God would be an unjust judge to ignore our sin -- but only because He has paid this price, it is possible for us to stand before Him.

i know it is difficult to comprehend. i know it is beyond what any man would do -- and this is why, to show us, because God's love is greater than any other.

Qu'ran & Bible both agree -- in order to stand before God, all depends on His mercy. no one can stand except for this.

Qu'ran & Bible both agree -- God is merciful and His kindness is everlasting

the Bible explains how God can show us this mercy, without calling the guilty innocent.
because Christ paid for our guilt, He declares us innocent who trust in His payment.
does Qu'ran explain how God can declare us who are guilty, innocent? by His great mercy, amen!!

Christ is this mercy, become flesh like us, so it can be so.

Yes, He paid the price for our sins. Praise the LORD!

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:23

Dude your speaking blasphemies against our faith...why they allow this sort of nonsense amazes me? Now I don't want to isult your faith or your so-called prophet...but we can go there if you continue to insult our Apostles and our faith.

Jesus Christ hand picked Paul, and made him the apostle to the Gentiles. You are a Gentile. I suggest you read Paul and seek the wisdom in his words. He is filled with the wisdom imparted by the Holy Spirit of God. Ask God to aid in your understanding as you read. Paul helps people understand the transition required from living under the law to living under Grace.

Allah is an unjust God. He forgives sin but does not punish it.

The God of Christianity is just and merciful. Due to his justness, he always punishes sin. Due to his mercy, he provided a means of being forgiven of sin through placing this punishment on his Son, who was God in human flesh.

He was totally sinless so he was able to serve as our atonement for sin.

Muslims believe that sin can be forgiven in a few different ways. One is going to Kaabah and having their sins transferred to the black rock, which they kiss as if it were a person. They also bow down toward Kaabah daily which is idolatry, although they claim that they are the champions against idolatry.

Another way is that they kill a lamb on Eid. This is bizarre because they got that from the Old Testament, and Scripture is clear in saying that these offerings pointed to Jesus Christ. So, by sacrificing the lamb, they are clearly using a ritual whose reality is found in Jesus Christ. Jesus was the spotless, sinless, perfect offering that this lamb symbolized.

By the way, even Islam admits that Jesus Christ was sinless...how was he sinless if he was not God? Mohammad certainly was not sinless. He showed that on multiple occasions. He took the wife of his adopted son for his own due to his lust for her. This is a shame and embarrassment to Muslims as they know it was wrong even according to their culture. In addition, he took a child for a wife..only 9 years old..not even sexually mature. This is obvious perversion.

He loses all rights to be considered a prophet of God due to these acts of perversion.

Since you do not like Paul, maybe you will listen to Jesus.

Jesus said, "For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel. For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will. For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son, that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.

Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.

Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live. For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself, and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man.

Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth--those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.

I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me."
(John 5:20-30)
