If you read my post again, you will note I said something along the lines of "when I say asinine, I am not calling someone a donkey."

While I don't deny that people who use drugs can have demons attack them, that does not mean everyone who uses drugs is influenced by demons.

You can go to the Greek to see where a word originated, but that does not mean the word has the same definition as the original word did.

Why wouldn't it mean the same thing does that mean after you translate the Bible from Greek to English it has a different meaning ---no. But by takeing certain words back to the Greek you can sometimes get more of an understanding of it.

To often something gets repeated over and aver until we believe it. This is the case with marijuana. Over and over I see people say, marijuana is good for you, marijuana isn't addictive, marijauna has never killed anyone. All of this is wrong. Just because it gets said enough doesn't make it true. Often statements of comparison (i.e. marijuana is less addictive than [enter your favorite her]) becomes statements of absolute (i.e. marijuana is not addictive). So we have an institute dedicated to the study of addiction and addictive behavior, a association of almost every doctor in America, and an association dedicated to the education of convicted criminals, all three agreeing that marijuana is dangerous, addictive, has long term effects and is potentially deadly. But what will be said--I had a friend who smokes it all the time and he...I smoke it and I think....they [the mysterious they] have proven that marijuana....So who will I choose to believe? I will believe the the professionals, and I will believe the Word of God when it instructs us to be "sober minded."
If that institute told you it was made up of almost every doctor in America, it lied, because there are MANY doctors out there who agree universally that marijuana is not harmful.

Except marijuana DOESN'T kill brain cells. No respectable doctor will tell you that.

Furthermore, again, I bring up my Rabbi: He has been consuming marijuana in various ways every day for 40 years now. He's both smarter and closer to G-d since he started. He's not possessed.
Try telling that to one of these dope infested hillbillys of the streets.

I have never in my life seen the words dope and hillbillys in the same sentence until now. Wow

Those people do a lot of other drugs, not just marijuana (and in some cases, they don't even do marijuana).

well a lot of doctors are probably crooked. they hand out mind-altering drugs(sorcery) to there patiants and a lot of the problems there patiants are facing can only be cured by the Lord Jesus.

I am talking of word origins. Not translated words.

How do you know that. You weren't there forty years ago. Is he smart enough to quote the Sch'ma (or as you say the Shema) without having to look it up? Is he smart enough to know that this same passage does not have the word Adonai in it and that the title Adonai is used as a substitute for the Divine Name? Is he smart enough to know what cultural tradition of Judaism he comes from.
MJ substitutes for one of the pleasure chemicals in your brain. It causes a loss of interest in the things that would normally cause you to feel pleasure. It also stores in the fat of your body and eventually begins to block the normal functioning of the chemical receptors.
You do not believe it effects you in any way. Would you allow a man who you see smoking a joint to operate on you or to fly a plane that you are in. No. Then you do believe it has a significant effect upon you.

It is the American Medical Association.

One sign of addiction is denial.

What is your fascination with the Shema? Honestly.

I'm going to ignore the obvious personal attack and just comment on this bit:

Yes, actually, I would. Try not to ask me questions and then answer them for me, hm? :)

My problem is that someone who claims to be studying under a rabbi ought to know the most important scripture in Judaism. If he is studying under a man who failed to teach him this first than that rabbi is not as intellegent as being claimed.

Yeah. At this point, I'm going to stop responding to you. It's nothing against you, just that if you're going to stop discussing this issue with logic and facts and instead resort to...whatever you call that, I can't continue to respond to you.

One in five car accidents in America are related to the smoking of marijuana. I would do neither and I assumed you had to common sense to do likewise. I actually still believe that.....

He knows the Shema. I don't know if his rabbi does, but Nuhen knows the Shema. I've even asked him to help me with it before.

Logic and facts? You just said that the American Medical Association was lying but you think his response was inflamitory?

I find it very hard to believe that 1 in 5 are caused by marijuana.

It took him about 30 minutes to get it out yesterday.
