i think i got something. i hope i am playing the game right, im still not sure how it works.

goods are made in a factory, they are manufactured, then they go on a boat, boats are always female, the boat is in a harbor or at berth, the goods go on the boat and sent out for delivery.

man - female - birth - delivery.

funny the things you think about when your by yourself driving down the road.

Good one. :)

Just like a:
3.5mm Male Jack Stereo and a 3.5mm Female socket...why can't they just say a plug and socket. :P

yeah around the construction world there are tons of male/female parts, and its not slang terms used by the guys, the parts come from the factory as male/female. also funny that many components are not complete or will not work without the male/female parts.

Yeah, funny how's its an industry standard jargon.

Mr Sandman! A real classic recording. reminds me of my childhood and the less complicated days of the 1950's.
I have no idea where Sandman comes from probably from some folk legend. Tooth Fairys supposed to bring you money, Sandman brings you dreams?

I'm retired now, but when I worked I had a boss that used 'at the end of the day' constantly. It became something of a joke
among our team. We were all glad to go home at the end of the day!

one of my old bosses wouls always say "it is what it is" which really got on my nerves, mostly cause it would follow bad news. "why do i have to work on Christmas?" "it is what it is" "why did i only get half my check?" "it is what it is" "boss can we get the AC fixed please, another guy keeled over from heat exhaustion" "sorry it is what it is" "how do you live with the shame of your lavish life style and your employees dont earn enough to feed their families?" "it is what it is" "why are you such a money grubbing ole scumbag" . . .. .
you get the idea.
