To the guy who said "If it's who they love...."

I love my mother. I love my father. I love my best friend, Cody. I love my girlfriend, Brittany. Do I have sex with every single one of them?? lolno

Love is a choice. Sexual attraction may or may not be a choice (I'm leaning towards it being a choice), but either way, you can love the same sex without wanting to have sex with them.

Well yeah, but love as in sex is between a man and woman.. and love as in caring is for anyone! BUT alot of people tend not to know what love is.. like a couple in middle school or high school or even out of school, would tell each other they love each other and in a week they end up breaking up, or even months. orr they end up getting married, but in time they end up in a divorce because they never grasped what love really is. that's why we all gotta be careful and learn what it is. more overly we cant though, unless we have Jesus.

well first of all.. how do they know for sure if it's love? second of all.. do believe in the Bible?(not to sound rude)

no i dont belive in the bible and i cant really explain love but all i can say it just kind of happens

What's your name? and well don't take it the wrong way but that's not true about love.. God gave us this, but throughout generations many have misused it to be this "spark" or "thing" that just happens.. The people who believe that are going to be hurt for the rest of their lives by people who say they love one another, but they don't. I don't want you to be that one that's gonna get hurt.. I mean hasn't anyone noticed? That the ONLY kind of people in this world that know what love is are the ones who have God in their lives? Sure others say they love their mommy and daddys but.. they end up disrespecting them as they grow up or hey maybe sometimes they don't. all I'm saying is that we don't know what love is, until Jesus showed us it..

PROTIP- When someone says "I don't believe the Bible," the LAST thing you do is quote scripture. Just sayin'.

But I also agree that love does NOT just happen. Love is a VERY active choice. You choose to love. You don't "fall in love," and you DEFINITELY don't "fall out of love." Those are signs of infatuation, and are not lasting, and are not love. Love is not dependent on circumstances, and will last, even if they're not "the same person you married." ~_o

Well the bible sais God created man to be with woman so God demands it to stay that way simple as that

Thank you I just realized.. lol xD Yes amen to that! God bless!

i didnt mean it as in you see a person you fall in love like that when you spend the time with some1 you like and you get to know that person through that process you start to relize if your falling in love with them or not. love is a emotional connection between 2 people but how love happens it can happen many ways

Love isn't just a bunch of emotions. Love is a choice. You choose to love someone no matter what happens.

im pretty sure love is a 2 way thing a connection that is made through a emmotional bond not just by you going to some1 saying i love you for no backing to saying why you love them

so you just see some one and go i am going to love her
I never said that. Now you are taking my words and twisting them. A common occurance on this site. I said that love is a choice. I never said you instantly love someone. You still get to know them, and then chooce to love them for who they are. The reason so many marriages fall apart and divorce ocurs is because the love feeling runs out. They haven't made the choice to love each other no matter what. Sure feelings come with love, but feelings do run out. Love is a choice, and with love comes sacrifice.

so how does making a choice stop the love from running out
You are stuck on the idea that love is just a feeling. It isn't just a feeling. Love is a choice. True love doesn't run out. If you really love someone, you stick with them no matter what. Hmmmm, that sounds a lot like God's love for us.

so how does a choice make it true love or how do you know its true love

True love comes from God. Once you experiance it you will understand. Not only does he love you, he gives you the ability to love.

dont you dare talk to me about exerience in true love mate i had it once and i had to give it up because of your religion. i know how much it hurts

I'm not looking to offend you, but I'm also not going to change my views. This is not a religion that i am living, it's a relationship. I'll be praying that you will turn to God.
