I have found that, for the most part, "righteous" people who simply slap hurting people up side the face with "the word of God" usually really only increase the guilt and condemnation they feel. This is NOT God's will.

Ok, here's my beef. Many say 'more than words', is needed, fine, but being out in the streets of America I don't even see words...no public preaching of the Gospel, everyone doing, doing, doing like a bunch of good Mormons...the Gospel lays silent. (Rant over)

You are absolutely right. I will NOT preach at someone until long after I have taken them for a meal, and gotten them someplace to stay, and put a few bucks and a bus pass in their pocket.... so that they can actually SEE and FEEL the words I might later speak to them.

So those who are work-a-day joes won't hear the Gospel until they lost their jobs. Is that how it works?

Have you gone out to have coffee and a donut with each of these "work-a-day Joes?" People really DON'T care how much you know, until they know how much you care. And most of them see us "preaching at them" as just feeding our own egos. (and, too often, that might just be true.)

God loves you, come just as you are.

"For God so loved the world
that He gave His only begotten Son
That whosoever believeth in Him
Should not perish, but have everlasting life."
- John 3:16

"Just as I am, and waiting not
To rid my soul of one dark blot,
To thee whose blood can cleanse each spot,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!"
- Charlotte Elliott
Thoughtless sinner, come today;
At the cross there’s room!
Hark! the Bride and Spirit say,
At the cross there’s room!
Now a living fountain see,
Opened there for you and me,
Rich and poor, for bond and free,
At the cross there’s room!

I know, and have done that I just don't care to brag about it and blow my trumpet about all the alms given.
Enough arguing already, back to the OP.

we will all (hear it -the Word - see It -the Word, at our individual, appointed, time......
we may take comfort in this, our Father will see to it and we will obey Him.....

Jesus didn't brag, nor did the Apostles when they said to watch and see how it's done. They, as we should, tried to get people who might not see anything needing to be done, to see just what CAN be done.

Jesus Paid It All Hymn

I hear the Savior say,
“Thy strength indeed is small;
Child of weakness, watch and pray,
Find in Me thine all in all.”

Refrain

Jesus paid it all,
All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson stain,
He washed it white as snow.

For nothing good have I
Whereby Thy grace to claim,
I’ll wash my garments white
In the blood of Calv’ry’s Lamb.

Refrain

And now complete in Him
My robe His righteousness,
Close sheltered ’neath His side,
I am divinely blest.

Refrain

Lord, now indeed I find
Thy power and Thine alone,
Can change the leper’s spots
And melt the heart of stone.

Refrain

When from my dying bed
My ransomed soul shall rise,
“Jesus died my soul to save,”
Shall rend the vaulted skies.

Refrain

And when before the throne
I stand in Him complete,
I’ll lay my trophies down
All down at Jesus’ feet.

Refrain

Why don't you start a thread on that topic instead of continuing your argument here?

Because, to me, it's not "a topic", but rather the way we live and think all the time.

So that's how you treat all threads? Ignore the topic and yammer your ego?

Uh..... there WAS no topic until Utah posted.
Yes there was...

O Come, All Ye Faithful
Text: Anonymous, Latin, 18th century
Music: John F. Wade's Cantus Diversi, 1751

1. O come, all ye faithful,
joyful and triumphant,
O come ye, O come ye
to Bethlehem!
Come and behold Him,
born the King of angels!
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore
Him, Christ, the Lord!

2. Sing, choirs of angels
sing in exultation,
O sing all ye citizens
of heaven above!
Glory to God, all glory
in the highest!
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore
Him, Christ, the Lord!

3. Yea, Lord, we greet Thee,
born this happy morning,
Jesus, to Thee be all glory given;
Word of the Father,
now in flesh appearing!
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore
Him, Christ, the Lord!

Deuteronomy32:39 — See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.
