Hey, Lion
Well, after seeing that video on Coptic Christians, a couple of things come to mind. First of all, wow for them... in Egypt, and the situation with the muslims there.... just amazing what they have to go through.
Secondly... for a Christian woman living in America, I cannot see how a relationship with someone in this church would be advisable. Their pope (they have a pope!) said that they believe in martyrs. Maybe it's how middle eastern "martyrs" are seen in the media as crazed suicide bombers, but that's just something that we need to steer away from.
I do want to acknowledge that there is a huge difference between living in the US and living in Egypt. They DO have to deal with their churches being torched by muslims, which was shown in that video. I don't know, Lion, I just think it might be a better match, with more long-term happiness, if you find a young man in a church that you are more comfortable with.
Another comment made in the video was that they "believe in suffering," almost as if they endorse it as part of their lifestyle. I think you need to look seriously and prayerfully at this church. Is God really calling you to be a part of that?
Really trying to advise you here as best I can, please bear with me.
