*Then I saw “a new heaven and a new planet,” for the first heaven and the first planet had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.*I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.*And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. - Revelation 21:1-3

John was like most people of the day, a flat world believer where the other planets revolved around earth. John doesn't go into much detail about this 'new earth' and where it is and what it is. But we know now that earth is a planet with the help of increased knowledge. So the 3 rd heaven is a planet and this is where Gods throne is, streets of gold, mansions, trees of life, a river and the capitol is the new Jerusalem. There is no sun light or moon light there for God is the source of light. This means it is in the interior of space somewhere, outside of our solar system. Because its so big we just havent found it yet via telescope. Many people have testified of going there and coming back to share what they saw.

The heavens are what is called today "outer space". Earth is the only earth. Also most of what is taught about outer space is false, even absurdly hilarious. Earth is "flat" so-to-say, it is not a sphere, it does not spin, and the sun circuits around the earth.

Is the sun flat also?

Might be, but I doubt anyone will ever get close enough to find out.

Though on the sun, stars are not equivalent to the sun. The sun is not a star.
Yes! Thank you! The Sun is obviously a massive incubator for an alien species.

Well there's no physical bodied aliens since there are no other earths. So that is unlikely.

It appears the Sun is the greater light to rule the day just as the Bible says. Lol pretty simple stuff actually. It's even right at the beginning of the Bible.

Jesse duplantis, colton burpo, mary K baxter, choo Thomas, Kat Ker, Dr Percy Collet amonst many have been there and have testified. The question isnt about where heaven is and what it looks like but do we have enough faith to believe those God has sent?

I remember how thomas doubted the resurection of Jesus unto he placed his fingers in the restored flesh of Jesus' body standing in front of him. His experience of the presence of Jesus before him altered his understanding of theology. He did not believe the testimony of the others! Thomas had an encounter and it cut through doubt. How much more do we need an encounter of Jesus and to believe other testimonies of where heaven is and what it is? Otherwise its merely based on experienceless opinion and interpretations rather than revelation I would have though.

Sirk, there is still plenty of good on this planet, as christians we need to bring the kingdom to others that the captives are set free and sight is restored to the blind. My hope is that all will be saved healed and set free :)

GodIssalvation The moon is made of Cheese. The earth is flat and the seas keep spilling over the edge. We have rain to top them up. The sun is plugged in every day and the stars are light bulbs that are replaced when they blow. How do I know these things? The great Pumpkin told me.

Psalm 96

1 O sing unto the Lord a new song: sing unto the Lord, all the earth.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]Sing unto the Lord, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the Lord made the heavens.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]Give unto the Lord, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.
[SUP]10 [/SUP]Say among the heathen that the Lord reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice
[SUP]13 [/SUP]Before the Lord: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.

Nice scripture Godlssalvation, so whats yhe context of verse 10 if in revelation 21 the earth will cease to exist, and that death and hades (hades being in the center of the earth as Jesus said He will be in the heart of the earth for 3 days and 3 nights) will be thrown into the lake of fire amongst satan, demons and all the lost?

[SUP]12 [/SUP]Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

[SUP]13 [/SUP]Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

I have never read a translation that mentions "a new heaven and a new planet". You just changed the verse to suit your presupposition. And no, the flat earth belief belonged to the pagan world, not Jews and Christians. Also, the head of the resurgence of the movement is a very vocal atheist.
