After nap time, sounds like "Run Through the Sprinkler" time. Mom can find a shady place to lay and there will be drippy adorababies for you to laugh at.Energetic toddlers...can't even begin to keep up when I'm sick. They're both all, "WHEEEEE! LIFE!!!! MOM!!!PLAY!!!" And I'm over here on the couch like..."Noooo, I'm not even your real mom..." And then they giggle and try to run off with my blanket.
Oh, sweet! It's nap time.

HEY, Olè, sorry to interrupt, can I ask you, or anyone, I suppose, a baking question? Thx, sydlit.meh, babies. But give me kids who can talk?![]()

No need but I appreciate it. Just wondering if there's a trick to getting parchment paper to unroll and lay flat on the baking sheet without wrinkling it all up, especially when you're down to the last quarter of a roll. Been making danish (snail) pastries and they bake the best on parchment, but they're pretty delicate when they're proofing so the paper needs to be smoothe and flat. Thx for any help.Sid! Ask away (or pm me if you would rather). I'm comfortable with that.![]()
Oooooohhhhhhh, okay, thanks.Baking is done in the oven......it's that large rectangular thing under the stove.

Thanks, good idea. Sorry it took long to get back, been trying to catch upBoy, if you figure out a better method, please let me know.
what I do (depending on what I'm working with) is loosely roll the parchment in the opposite direction... typically works.
If it doesn't? I take a tiny bit of the dough/batter and put it on the bottom of the parchment in the corners just so it sticks a little bit.
hope it helps.![]()
Bagel Attempt #1 was a hilarious fail. But? I may have figured out dumplings. Cool, right?
Bagel Dog Attempt #1, also hilarious fail. I am not sure I will attempt them again.
