The trinity or Godhead is three distinct persons that make up one essence. They are the same in nature and they are one. They have different functions and operations that accomplish one purpose. They all work as one Godhead and are inseparable. They never disagree and are indivisible. They are eternal, they are co-equal and express one God who is above all and created all things in heaven and in earth. The were not created and can not be destroyed.

Take salvation as an example of their distinct persons and their oneness to operate and accomplish the work and eternal purpose of salvation.

- God the Father planned it

- God the Son executed the plan,

- God the Holy Spirit reveals it to the heart of man

My problem with this partial emptying is that the Godhead is diminished. When Jesus put aside, as I believe, His omniscience, His omnipotence, and His omnipresence, the Godhead was not diminished. This is one strength of the Trinity.
By the way, your attempt to intimidate me because of my decade with the I.R.S. will not succeed. If you are interested, I was a Tax Law Specialist with the Seattle District from 1985 to 1995. If you have any questions about the particular tax advantages available under the law for ministers, I would be happy to answer them. I was in ministry for seven years before, served in churches during my service with the IRS and have continued for the fifteen years since. I have been in Orofino for eleven years.

YOUR BIBLE VERSION MIGHT SAY HE EMPTIED HIMSELF OUT
BUT
THE CORRECT VERSION THE KJV
DOES NOT SAY THAT
SO THE VERSION YOU HAVE
IS OBVIOUS OF A MAN WHO FOUND A WAY TO MAKE A STAB
AT HIS PERSONAL 3 PERSONS GOD VIEW

THE KJV DOES NOT SAY THIS
SO JESUS HAD FULL POWER AS GOD
BUT DID NOT REVEAL HIMSELF
IN GLORY
LIKE WE WILL SEE IN THE 2ND ADVENT AT BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON
SO
GOD WAS STILL EVERYWHERE EVEN ON EARTH ALL AT SAME TIME

THE ONE GOD IS DESCRIBED AS A MAN ON HIS ONE THRONE

The trinity or Godhead is three distinct persons that make up one essence. They are the same in nature and they are one.
Well there is the problem, "three distinct persons", that would be 3 individuals.

Distinct - "Distinguished as not being the same, not identical; seperate, different in nature or quallities; dissimilar.

As you can see the statement regarding the Trinity is contradictory.

They have different functions and operations that accomplish one purpose.
This is conjecture. biblically "Of My own self I can do nothing" disproves the statement that Jesus is acting differently and independently of the Father.

They all work as one Godhead and are inseparable.
Distinct - "Distinguished as not being the same, not identical, etc.

They never disagree and are indivisible.
See abve.

They are eternal, they are co-equal
God claims He has no equals.

and express one God who is above all and created all things in heaven and in earth. They were not created and can not be destroyed.
'They', means more than one, so this is a polytheistic claim on the Eternal.

Take salvation as an example of their distinct persons and their oneness to operate and accomplish the work and eternal purpose of salvation.
Contradiction of terms, distinction and oneness are fundamentally oppossed.

- God the Father planned it

- God the Son executed the plan,

- God the Holy Spirit reveals it to the heart of man
He is one God, not three; so God planned it, God executed it and God revealed it! How many God's? One. If there were three, there would be more than one.

Well, let's use the original version: alla eauton ekenosen morphendoulou labon, en omoiomati anthropon genomenos; kai schemati euretheis os anthropos.
In the KJV: "But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of the servant, and was made in the likeness of men."
ekenosen (kenoo)--deprive of power, make of no effect
But He deprived Himself, taking the form of a servant, in likeness he became a man, and changed his outward clothing being found as a man.
What He deprived Himself of is the issue.

Rev. 5:6 And I saw in the midst of the throne with the four living creatures and the elders a Lamb standing, as if slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which is the sevenfold Spirit of God, sent out into all the earth. And He came, and He took it out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.
This is a scene in heaven. As you see, there is Him who is on the throne, the Lamb, and the Spirit of God. A difficult passage for modalism, since you believe these are the same person.

It is nice that your services are going well.
You are the one that started the thread and you are the one who is getting on every night to check it. If it is a distraction to your ministry I would suggest that you wait until you are done with the revival meetings--first things first. You are also doing your share of name calling.
Would you like a list. i could probably get together a list of a hundred or so and it would be only a representation. Did you know that an entire tribe of Berbers converted to Christianity recently? That was 50,000-70,000. God is doing great things worldwide and in the US.

You know I guess this is what I would have thought and you can correct me if I am wrong. But I would have thought the the Holy Spirit is God's Spirit because in Genesis it say that the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the deep. And that Jesus is God's son. So Jesus and God are of the same mind but 2 different beings, becuse Jesus died on the cross not God. And Jesus went to sit at the right hand of God. Correct me if I'm wrong.

"Right hand" is the power, Jesus claiming to be the 'Right Hand' when we translate from the Greek and Hebrew idiom, is the same as saying '"I am God", which is what He claimed, and proclaimed Himself King of Heaven and Earth, all power belonging to Him, he claimed all these titles, all of them.

For example God brought the Israelites out of Egypt with "My Right Hand", thats the hand of power, there is no-one stting on His right hand, His right hand belongs to Him, that's His dexter, dexios

And another where it is hard to reconcile, John 10:18 "No one has taken it away from Me, but I lay it down on My own initiative. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This commandment I received from My Father." This clearly shows two personalities, Jesus, and His Father, who has given Him authority to lay down His live and to take it up again. Later, in another passage Jesus speaks of His leaving, and of the necessity of His leaving, because if He does not leave, then the Holy Spirit will not be sent from the Father. This shows 3 definite personalities. Even more difficult to reconcile. And in the letter to the Hebrews, we find that Jesus lives to always intercede for those who are drawing near to the Father through Him(Jesus.) But most important, when I am in the Spirit, I know that there is the Spirit, who is helping me to be in God's presence, and the Son, who is My Lord, the sacrifice for me that buys my access to the Father, and the Father, who is seated on the throne in the temple in heaven, so holy and pure that only the blood of Jesus could gain me access into His presence.

It is not a dilemma, as everything Jesus did while on earth, He did by the power of the Holy Spirit, the same power available to us and which you yourself allow in your ministry.
My translation is from the Koine Greek, but I provided the KJV for your use. The issue still stands. What was it that Jesus set aside or emptied Himself of which allowed God, who is spirit, to clothe Himself in flesh.
Matthew, on the other hand, was a tax collector, as was Zacchaeus.

So is it correct to say that God's only begotten son died for our sins or His right hand.

CLEARLY THE THE 7 HORNS AND 7 EYES ARE THE (HOLY GHOST)
WHICH IS CLEARLY THE SPIRIT OF THE LAMB WHICH IS THE SLAIN (WORD) OF GOD
THIS ONLY REPRESENTS THE TYPICAL SPIRITUAL EMBODIED MEANT OF
THE TRUE SACRIFICED LAMB THAT WAS SLAIN
BUT NOTICE

THE LAMB HAD 7 EYES AND 7 HORNS
THIS IS ONE BODY 2 FUNCTIONS OF GOD
BUT
NOW
THE ONE ONE THE THRONE
NOTICE HIS RIGHT HAND SO THIS IS A BODY A PERSON A MAN (EZEK 1:26)
YOU
OBVIOUSLY ARE MAKING NO POINT HERE
FOR THE BEST YOU COULD GET
IS 2 SEPARATE BODIES HERE
BUT
NO ONE IS ACCEPTING THAT JESUS IS WALKING AROUND AS
A LAMB WITH 7 EYES AND 7 HORNS
THIS IS ONLY A SYMBOL OF WHO HE REPRESENTED THE LAMB EVEN FOR ISAAC

YOU CLEARLY MISSED THE POINT OF THIS SCRIPTURE BROTHER

Yes. It is written in Acts 2:33, Romans 8:34, Ephesians 1:20, Hebrews 1:3, Hebrews 10:12, Hebrews 12:12, and I Peter 3:22. In all those cases it is apparent that the Father is a separate person than the Son.

WE DEAL ON FACTS

IF IT WAS ABOUT A TRINITY THEN THE FATHER

ONLY JESUS CAN

So, how does a representation take the scroll from the hand of the One who sits on the throne? The reading is quite clear as it stands.
