I can stand to watch football, and I can even be excited when my husband's favorite teams win...but honestly, I never have any clue what the heck is going on at any given point.

During one game, and I don't have any idea who was playing...I said, "Oh gross, why did they pick THOSE colors?" And my husband...he just shook his head like he couldn't believe I was doing a fashion critique. WELL! They clashed...
SAME. That's what happens when my dad watches football. I cheer on for my state but don't ask me what's going on in the game because I have no clue. I've TRIED to understand, but I've never been able to grasp the concept.

My mother and I are famous (infamous?) for this! We actually had to rewind a recorded show we were watching a few times at the same point because we kept getting distracted with the clashing colors in someone's dress. I literally missed dialogue because of it lol

I never have understood all the hype about football. In high school on certain Fridays we would have shorter classes so we could squeeze in a pep rally before the end of the school day. I was the nerd who always sat in the front office reading a book because those pep rallies hurt my ears!

I'm smack in the middle of my bi-weekly meal planning. I'm kiiiiinda really bored with it, so I decided to challenge myself and see if I could do half the dinners for $5 or less (the week my husband won't be here) and the other half for $10 or less.

Eight more to go...plus breakfasts, lunches, and snacks. And then to make the shopping list...and then to organize the shopping list by aisle...

I was using an app for all this, but it made it insanely hard to keep track of how much I was spending.

...I know, my life is fascinating ;)

My hair smells like food. In a good way! Like...vanilla cupcakes or something. It's making me hungry.

If there are things I should be doing that are more important than sniffing my hair and daydreaming about cupcakes, I don't know what they are. Actually EATING cupcakes, maybe?

Where is Pipp when you need her?! :D

I don't understand why this lady called me from work, lol.
(My last job)
She asks me to come over.
I don't want to come over.
She asks me to be set up with her brother,
No. No. No. lol

I understand she is trying to be nice but......

?

question.

Blue, how have you been? I was thinking of you and praying for you today. I am in the process of making a few changes in my career too, and said a prayer that you'll find a job you enjoy (and that appreciates your talents) soon. *hugs*

What if I'm the sum total of the traits I do not like in another...

A good thought. And it reminds me of a song in my collection:

If everyone were just like me
What kind of world would this world be
If everyone were just like me
Would it be a place I'd want to be

Don't Texans pretty much idolize it? From the pros (Cowboys and Texans) to college (University of Texas, Texas Tech, TCU, Texas A&M, Baylor) down to even the high school level?
Only Dallasites idolize the Cowboys. The rest of us forget they even exist.
