There's a battle between my hunger and my laziness right now... and I gotta say that having "the bed" on its side is helping laziness win this bout...

But church folk have asked me when I'll get married and have kids. It used to bother me a lot because I could hear the clock ticking. Now I don't care lol I just say whatevs!!!

I feel great.
I just took a bath and I smell like flowery pistachios.
Um..
And I got new lotion that smells like shea butter, or it has shea buter in it.
Chyeah.
And then I bought two cases of water bottles so I am basically ready for a fast at any times, I stock my miniature refrigerator that I keep in my room, kind of like the ones that they have at the hotels except it's only water, boo and ya.
Wait what was I talking about,
oh yeah fasting!
I am horrible with this whole fasting thing because I never stick to a day.
I'll experience a little bit of a revelation within an hour or two and be like 'OK GREAT' and then I will stop fasting...
I don't experience horrible hunger pangs or anything, but it baffles my mind when I hear stories about people that fast for more than two or three days at a time, three days also sounds extreme to me....Not necessarily because you are lacking food, but because the habits and the routines of eating. Sometimes you notice things that are so deeply imbedded in your behaviors you look like this .....0_0 and then you see a blackhole out of the corner of your eye because it is past three a.m. and then you realize that if you don't change your ways, a monster from one of the goosebumps movies is going to grab you and take you down to live in their swamp with them...
I mean....

I used to think teaching in village make me really suffer with the distance, villagers, students, parents, collagues n transportation problems. back home every weekend n think that working in city is better coz hey im here n life could be easier.
But here iam, in the middle of ppl that is even mean n selfish. Between teachers theres dirty competitions n they tend tobe busy with their files to get extra paid n forgetting their resposibility at school. Its so tragical view n i feel iam cheating with my own dream to see better things in city thats far away from my hope.

so about a month ago, boss said we were gonna be closed some days in september.
him: i'll be out on sept 17th and 18th.
me: well.... might as well add the 16th.
him: i actually fly out the 16th in the evening.
me: so.... what i'm hearing is... we're gonna close at noon?
him: nope. we're working full day on wednesday.
my convincing skills didn't work
but then... yesterday afternoon, i get a text from him saying we're closing at 4 pm on wednesday. i'm not complaining about closing early, but now i gotta call people to reschedule their appt. -_-
this is what happens when people don't listen to melita
