Thinking it is in the ocean like the deep sea trench like where Jonah was dragged.

Note the devil is not the beast in revelation but will end up in that burning pit with him.

Therefore people give too much power to the devil. He is not the embodiment of evil as opposed to Jesus but just another deceiving spirit like the beast and other antichrist.

An old crafty enemy but not as powerful as his lying followers would have you believe.

He seems to be the 'beast' here...

The beast which you saw was, and is not, and is about to come up out of the abyss, and goes to destruction. And those dwelling on the earth will marvel, the ones whose names have not been written on the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, seeing the beast, that it was a thing, and is not, yet now is. From your link...

< < < Welcome to the website of the resurrected angel of Exodus 23:20 > > >

The coming of the Day of the Lord is a time of great excitement for everyone in the hope of not only an expected end, but also of a new beginning.
The Malek with His name in Him’ is referred to as God both before (Exo 23.19) and after (Exo 23.25) this verse – proving that this is not an angel, but God in the flesh.

And for your Malek, I raise you one wise alek.

Christ, Himself, quoted Exodus 23:20 in His reference to me.

God took Elijah and made him an angel.

Believe it or not!

Like it or not!

These are the facts of the case.

CALL!

Would that be a "smart" or "un smart"alek?

Rev 20 says Satan will be sent to the fire like the Beast so they can't be the same being.

Matt 12 v. 25 -29 speak of Jesus bonding Satan.

Satan was cast out of heaven when Jesus started preaching, probably after their encounter in the desert...so 30 A.D.?

He night have been bound in the abyss upon Jesus death on the cross but I think it's more likely after the destruction of the temple in 70 A.D.. Satan will be released shortly to gather the nation's against God's people.

Perhaps he may even claim to be Christ returned...kill a few million who would know better and claim they were "raptured" set up a false earthly "restored" temple and make folks follow the laws, feasts and twist it so much that many don't even know the Gospel of grace but are enslaved to works based false salvation.

Most of the church seems to be premillenial and await the rapture.

But all I see is the danger this,deception causes and how Satan can exploit it when he is unbound.

If Satan was not already bound, then why has he not possessed anyone since that time...?

What kind of thought process is the above? First of all, how would you or anyone know whether or not Satan has possessed anyone since then? Are you privy to his activities? And what would it matter whether he did or not? It doesn't prove or disprove that he is currently bound! The chronology in book of Revelation leading up to his binding is as follows:

* The great tribulation period

* The Lord's return to the earth to end the age and establish his millennial kingdom

* The beast and the false prophet thrown into the lake of fire alive

* The resurrection of the great tribulation saints (Rev.20:4)

* Satan thrown into the Abyss where it is locked and sealed over him

* Millennial reign of Christ begins

* Satan released at the end of the millennium

* Satan thrown into the lake of fire

The above is a summary of the chronological order of events. For those reading this, the reason that Bowman holds to the teaching that Satan is currently bound is because it is the teaching of Amillennialism, which is the spiritualizing of end time events. Here is an example:

=============================================
"for every animal of the forest is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills. (Ps.50:10)

"He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years." (Rev.20:2)

=============================================

Looking at the two Scriptures above, the Amillennialist looks at Psalm 50:10 and says, "Since God owns cattle on a thousand hills, then the number of cattle is unknowable." Then, they take this formula and apply it to Rev.20:2 regarding Satan's binding for a thousand years, ergo, since the cattle on a thousand hills is figurative for an unknown number, they then apply the same formula to the thousand year binding of Satan, that is, it is not a literal thousand years, but an unknown number. And they do this while ignoring the context of Rev.20:2.

Amillennialism has a pre-packaged interpretation for most of the major biblical topics, so that when confronted with Scripture, they immediately go to their pre-packaged interpretation and ignore the plain meaning of the context, which is why it is so difficult to give proof to them via Scripture. To the rest of us it is obvious that Satan will be bound when Christ returns to the earth to end the age, which takes place after the seventh bowl has been poured out, which ends God's wrath. It is obvious that, just as Scripture states, that after the beast and the false prophet are thrown alive into the lake of fire and the rest of those gathered there at Armageddon are killed by the double-edged sword (word of God), following that, Satan is then completely bound under the earth in the Abyss, where he has no exposure whatsoever to the inhabitants of the earth during the entire thousand years of Christ's reign. Because of these teachings they will also tell you that we are currently living in the millennial period and Christ is ruling from heaven through the church on earth. So for them, Christ does not physically rule on earth and the thousand years is not a literal thousand years, but an unknown amount of time, even though the words "A thousand years" is mentioned in the Scripture six times.

My suggestion to you Bowman is to forget what you have been taught and let the Scriptures alone teach you. Take the Scriptures at face value unless a symbolic interpretation is required.

If the literal sense makes good sense, then don't seek any other sense.

Scripture informs the reader that Satan directly possessed people right up until Jesus' death upon the cross.

Afterward, the only casting-out that was performed was on demons.

Why not show us the verb tenses utilized....?

Or....will it utterly destroy your worldview....?

My suggestion to you....stop pasting-in your prefabricated editorial and prove your assertions from the Greek.

Good luck...

Maybe yes and no..... I say that because perhaps he is bound to this earth, but in Job it said he had been going to and fro on the earth and he went up to heaven for the meeting to talk with God.....

I know he is certainly loose to torment and tempt me my guess is he is tormenting more than me perhaps the rest of us too?

That took place before The Cross.

My position is that Satan was bound at The Cross.

"In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one."

The above is also in reference to Satan, that is unless you want to distort that as well? The "evil one" here can only refer to Satan himself.

No mention of direct involvement in ANY of those verses...

'Flaming arrows'....'flood of water'....'snare'...etc, etc.....NONE of those verses mentions Satan's personal involvement...rather, it can only refer to his demons...
