I was so totally into the hardcore cartoon “Jonny Quest” when I was a young girl. I imagined myself as the adventurous character Jessie, the daughter of ex-secret serviceman Roger “Race” Bannon and Colombian archaeologist Estella Velasquez. Jessie also had a crush on Jonny Quest, the son of Dr. Benton Quest, one of the most intelligent scientists in the world. Now that I’m older, I resemble the mom, Estella, which is waaaaay cool because she’s no slouch either. LOL!

Sorry, Melita. You'll have to find your own beard.
Why do the words, "Thou shalt not covet" keep coming to mind when I look at TinTin's beard?! D'oh!

Whew.

Am I ever glad Melita cleared that up. Because the first thing I thought was, "WHAT?? And this girl claims she doesn't have dem skillzzz... And yet apparently, she has the skillzzz to grow out a full-blown beard that could compete with a guy's... within a matter of minutes..." (Are you sure you're not one of those "Barber Shop Play-Doh" sets? You know, the kind where you push the lever and 5 inches of "hair" "grows" automatically???!!) 5'o'clock shadow ain't got nuttin' on you, girl!

Not sure I wanna see dem skillzzz up close and personal... (on Melita. On TinTin... Well, I'd just be stunned into stupefied silence--yet another of his many marvelously magnificent talents!)

Oh, I remember "Johnny Quest"! Not the original series, mind you, but the mid-90s reboot. I should check out the original. Was Jessie even part of the older series?

Well, I know you're tall, you have a beard and wear eyeglasses... and as everyone knows, you have a super awesome personality and are very strong in God's spirit.... so here's who I think you look like (especially spiritually!)

I watched this show every Friday night. That must have been 50 years ago. I was a big fan of the Flintstone's too.

I don't know who I look like. I mean, I was called Tintin in high school, but I never really looked like him. And I do look like Captain Haddock, when I'm wearing a sailor costume (which has only ever happened once). Who do you say I am? :)
I think you look like Santa Claus before he got them white hairs.

But you remind me of Arthur Christmas too. And I assume you dress the way he does. LOL

Haha, Molly! Father Christmas works for me, but I don't dress like Arthur. Classic. Thanks, dear sister. :)
I was kidding about the clothes thing.
