Hey! Long time, no chat. :) Life's been crazzy. Been in between cities for a while now. Trying to move to one, staying in another. I have a stepmom now as of a few weeks ago! But life's been pretty okay.

So I got the product that I wanted from the antique store today! It's really cool..I think! But I'm not going to post pics till tomorrow. I needed to clean it first and now it's drying.

Also, my brother doesn't like it very much...he thinks it's creepy :(

As long as it isn't a creepy clown, I look forward to seeing it!

Something creepy that you have to clean? Interesting.....and an antique on top of that.....Is it a statue? possibly of an animal you like?

Wow, today was apparently the day someone upstairs just decided to dump blessings on us. Seriously, I'm overwhelmed right now, with how many things went above and beyond what I was expecting to happen with our prayers that we'd have what we need to move. I was expecting that we'd be given just enough to get us to Wyoming by the skin of our ears.
We were planning on having to crash at the trailer that my brother-in-law owns, until we got the call that our application for the house we wanted, was accepted. They accepted our application today, and are sending us the lease on Monday. No crashing in a 2 bedroom mobile home, we're moving straight into our 3 bedroom house. For HALF OCTOBER'S RENT TOO!!
Along with having to pay for rent for the house we got, we were going to have to pay rent for the apartment we have now, because we're moving before the lease is up here. Except my husband talked to one of his friends, who wants a place of his own, and they're taking over our lease, so we won't have to pay both.
I just sold my car, and was expecting to get $800 less than it's worth, because it has a few problems. So when the person who bought it asked how much we wanted for it, I told him $1000. He sent us $2000!!!

God is good. So very, very good.

Apparently there are potentially severe downsides to not allowing peoples' signatures to show. You can't see yours either, so if the computer somehow makes the typing in white, you won't notice until you look w/o being logged in, and you'll have a dumb-looking sig =P.

When I was younger, I used to feel like I was a man trapped in a woman's body......

but then I was born. ;)

Oh, for all you in-between-the-line readers, you're reading things that aren't there.

The house that I am buying is the house that I've been living in for the last four years, and renting as the lone inhabitant for the last two years. It's owner is a very good friend of mine, who offered me a bedroom when The Ex relocated to Austin so that I didn't have to keep spending $900 in rent on a two-bedroom apartment anymore. He'd only been living in it for several months (he'd had it custom built) by himself, with no specific plans other than to get out of renting and into ownership.

Two years later, I was back to being single, and he was married to an army doctor who was being shipped to Killeen. He left me in the house as he went with his wife, and was content to just let me rent it. Now his wife is out of the army, and they are relocating again, and building a new house for their growing family. They can afford to keep paying on this house, as I have basically paid the payments as rent. But I knew it would be helpful for them to unload the house, and I didn't particularly want to move AGAIN, AND I really needed to get out of renting and into ownership myself. So, it just all worked out.

It honestly had nothing to do with wedding plans. Angie owns her house, and now I am about to own mine. If anything, my buying a house actually complicates future plans. *smirk* We're just going to keep on keeping on until God makes things clear. ^_^

I guess I can cross "Shopping for Shour & Grace's Wedding Present" off my list... for now...

I'll check back next week. :p
