Do what Jesus teaches and did.
Above is what is given in the OP as the resolving of the grace and obedience-grace only disputing. I have changed it from law-grace because detractors keep reading it as being under the law. It should make no difference since obedience is doing what God says, not what traditions and doctrines of man say.
My point in this post is that even with this simple solution there are people who hate obedience so much they will distort the meaning of the resolution.
If it is wrong to suffer with Christ, then I am wrong, and all who share in His Example by trying to be as much as He was walking the earth as is possible..
Stop..........all who do this, telling the obedient children to be disobedient for they all share the righteousness of God through the gift of faith.

Finding more fault in the teachings of the Word? I think you are the one being the fancy vocabulary......
I am finding it needful to resort to a colloquialism, get real, and do your nit-picking where it is truly necessary. We are expect to "pick up or cross" and follow Him. What will you ask next? "Where are the crosses?"
Again............to remind all. Remember the worthless servant who buried the talent of gold until the Master returned. So it is with grace only folks. Gold is faith; if we do nothing with the faith given us, it is not acceptable by our Master.
That street in Heaven is paved with gold so pure you can see into it like glass. That gold is the faith of the saints.
The King's crown is made up of His saints, Isaiah. And many more references...........
Remember the worthless servant. Do not be such. In our faith we ae motivated to do good works as we die daily with our blessed Jesus. We pick up our cross and walk with Him. Some are gifted with one gift, others another, and we use them during our walk, working out our salvation.

This is why I'm confused. People accusing those who obey God of legalism. Like I said before God can't use a person that is not willing to do His work. That's what I see. People telling God how they are not gonna do anything, yet expect heaven

Yup, what part of FREE don't you all understand?
Yes we are to act like God's children because we are His Children...not to become His children."...present... your members as instruments of righteousness to God" (Romans 6:13). In obeying God is on my side, so that the grace of God and my obedience are in perfect agreement. Obedience means that i have completely placed my trust in the atonement, and my obedience is immediately met by the delight of the supernatural grace of God. Beware of human holiness that denies the reality of the natural life-it is fraud.
Strawman..Worshiping God is not about doing the least to get by. Be wholehearted instead.
The gift of faith is treasure to our Father, and of course to all who receive it.
Faith is likened to gold throughout he Word.
Our God teaches us that He refines us, but not as gold or silver, rather in the furnace of affliction. He goes on to say He does this for His own sake that we not be cut off. His reason is not our reason,.
In the parable about the servants being given talents of gold to administer while the Master was gone away, the gold is the gift of faith.
When we receive the gift of faith, it is our talent of gold. One may work to increase his talent of gold in sharing with others this faith increasing his talent by one, two, three, or many more. When the Master returns He is pleased with the servants who increased the number of talents, that is the faithful.
But the servant who buried his talent, and did nothing was considered worthless by the Master and was cast out into th e outer darkness.
So servants who do something with the faith given them will be rewarded, but those who do nothing will be cast into the outer darkness,.
Are you doing anything at all with your faith? The mere fact that ou are working in these forums tells me you are, but if you rest on receiving the gift of faith and doing nothing, well, you know the consequences of this non-action,. Even worse to encourage other to do nothing is producing more worthless servants. If you are a servant of the Mos High Go in Jesus Chrsit yo will do and not just talk a lot.
Mathew 5:6, Mathew 5:10, Matthew 6:33, Luke 1:75, Acts 10:35, Acts 13:10, Romans 1:17, Romans 6:13, Romans 6:19-20, 1 Corinthians 15:34.
no matter, the word promise' is not in their vocabulary.
I disagree, when you say it is required, you are placing a person under law.
when you say it is of faith and love, A person willingly wants to obey, and learn, Because he has an abba father not a dictator.
What are you talking about?Sounds like you have an agenda...
I understand what folks are discussing....Following the law is Self empowerment.
I prefer to rest in Jesus and his grace. Have the spirit empower me and give me strength and discernment. I am sure the spirit knows the law and how to counsel me.

The Master has given us faith, and faith leads to grace. If we bury our talent, out faith, it is not leading to grace, it is dead.
