How can God justify the ungodly [Romans 4:5] and still maintain His integrity to His holy law which condemns sinners [Galatians 3:10]? I ask this because the law of God clearly prohibits an innocent man dying for the guilty:
Ez 18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die: the son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son; the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
Dan58 gave you the correct meaning of that Ezek.18:20 passage. You are misinterpreting it.
It means each person is responsible to God for their sins. A son does not inherit his parent's sin, and visa versa.
Jesus Christ is... God, i.e, God The Son, Immanuel (God with us), which is how He could come in the flesh, have no sin, die upon the cross becoming our Passover Lamb of sacrifice, and able to forgive sins, and be The Savior. That is why all... peoples MUST go through Him only, and none other, to be saved, as written.
