i work in addiction recovery and have counselled numerous people and the entitlement and mob mentality in here is absolutely unbelievable for a christian environment and the moderator should be embarrassed.

You sound like a teenager, not someone in their 50s. Also, your attitude is very similar to several members that have been banned numerous times for joining just to cause strife.

Again, nice but no deal. As said, I am appalled at the behavior of this "christian board" and could not care less if i were banned.

I don't know if this will qualify me as being rude or immature or just plain illiterate, but I actually misread this first post as, "I am a Christian guy in prison..." and the only thing I was thinking was, "WHOA! How in the world is he able to post?"

Although when I think about it, it's totally possible, as I've heard of inmates who are able to get on the internet regularly because they bribe the officers for the use of their phones... (I've seen several instances where inmates have dating profiles, etc., I just hadn't seen an inmate posting on a live message board before.) Well anyway... Glad that's all cleared up...

Appalled about what?....your failed expectations concerning others? Maybe if you spent less time expecting others to measure up to your standards and more time being grateful you might find what you're looking for. As it is...nobody wants to hang with someone who holds others to a higher standard than they hold themselves to.

How does further excoriation help? Where is the soft answer the Bible was talking about that turns away wrath?
