Because I love pokemans and I'm sure others do XD Feel free to post your favorites, any stuff you've done from previous games, ones you're excited for, ect.

Personally I'm really happy, I'm trying to go for a specialty as an eevee trainer and I have enough of the different forms to have a full roster. Having a little trouble leveling them up though, and sadly no flying eevee. THAT would be awesome. XD

So far I have Eevee, Jolteon, Flareon, Glaceon, Leafeon, and Vaporeon. Thinking about a Sylveon, but Umbreon and Espeon I have no care to get. At least not now. I hope I can transfer them to Alpha Saphire, I'm hoping to get that one soon.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay

My top five would probably be:

1. Mewtwo
2. Squirtle
3. Dragonite
4. Articuno
5. Raichu

I still remember getting a holo Raichu in the very first pack of cards I got when I was like 10 lol. I also had a first edition holo Charizard at one point. I think I'll always favor the original Pokemon :p

I love pokemon too. This thread is making me want to play it again. Or watch the anime lol. My favourite pokemon will always be Gyarados because of his humble beginnings. And takes forever to evolve.

I want to play Pokemon too, until I get into a random encounter or the monotonous fights until I get bored and play solitaire. But I love Pokemon.

Lol I got pokemon crystal. Haven't played it for a bit but my basic party on it is Meganium, Suicine, Arcanine, Espeon, Lugia, and then pretty much just been rotating the last slot to level up other random ones.

Mentioning them cards reminds me I was going through some of my stuff to throw away or sell and found a lil binder of a bunch of my old pokemon cards. They were still in pretty fair condition too and from the editions when that were all big back in the heyday of it in the late 90s. Lol don't got the holo charizard but I seen that one is supposed to range anywhere from hundreds to the thousands. Crazy stuff lol.

Lately been side-plotting to look into a few places around the county that might buy them at a fair price. Was trying to look up price ranges online first to get some grasp for the negotiating but there was a lot of variance in the ranges so not too sure what I got here. Definitely on the look out for any info or opinions pertaining to selling pokemon cards or their values.

I've probably seen more of Pokemon, but I much preffered Digimon. Save for Pikachu. He's awesome.

I always though Digiman was interesting because you got to actually hear what they were saying, which was kinda awesome. And temporary evolutions was kinda novel, plus Tai was awesome. XD

Digimon didn't get off the ground much though, Pokemon went sky high but I do enjoy digimon the way the creatures are drawn is so sophisticated compared to Pokemon

Right, and the animation and creatures were more interesting and more involved, as well as the storylines and tone.

Lol I remember the Digimon tv show. Never got into it as hardcore as pokemon, just thought digimon was kinda stale. Kinda like what VR Troopers was to Power Rangers. Lol my pokemon story as a kid is pretty typical. Pokémon fad hit and was all into it, everyone in town got pokemon fever. Oh man, trading, fights (literal fights), and blackmailing for pokemon cards galore. My friend even try extorting me a holographic pokemon card for my Gameboy and I simply gave him the Gameboy and his mom overheard the whole thing, got mad at him and gave it back lol. Just hilarious stuff, pokemon kid gangsta style. Kinda sad, but in a way comically hilarious looking back. Then literally the next year Pokémon was like the uncoolest thing which makes it even funnier. Everyone have to get rid of or hide their pokemon swag lol. Pokémon will always be to me the prime example of a fad.

Digimon was kind of stale? Pokemon was little more than tournaments and a huge marketing campaign and completetly incompetent and dull villains. Digimon on the other hand had a solid story and some very interesting and diverse villains.

Lol just saying how I remember it as a kid. Frankly I nearly forgot about Digimon. It just never caught on for me or around me as a kid, at least not in the way Pokémon did. Pretty much never seen someone get in a physical fight over Digimon. Lol Pokémon got taken way too seriously when it first hit around here. Lol as for Pokémon, never went to their tournaments. We had our own lil way of doing pokemon card battles here, lol street pokemon. Lol my carnal pops had funny jokes about it, he would call it Hokeymon lol.

No worries, brother. I think I was in Year 8 when the Pokemon craze hit. So I'm probably looking at it all from more of an old man's perspective. ;)
