Your post seems to be the sentiments of most people that claim Jesus. But,, you haven't seriously looked at this situation. If you did, you would know that Jesus isn't a created day. You would also come to realize that Jesus isn't the 4th Commandment. But,, most people will not listen to Truth. They prefer THEIR way. And you have done exactly that, when you make claims that "Jesus and Him crucified is my Sabbath"...

The issue of the Sabbath will not go away. It will only get louder and louder.

We have 10 commandments,, we sure don't have any problem fouling it up the other 9. Few have little trouble understanding the other 9 commands. But when we get to the Sabbath Commandment,,, all sorts of confusion enters in.

"Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all thy work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger that is with-in your gates. For in 6 days the lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it."

Now, after reading the 4th commandment,, Please explain how Jesus became either a created day or somehow turned into the 4th Commandment? Why didn't Jesus turn into the 5 commandment,, or the 8th?

"Remember the Sabbath day. To keep it holy" < This is the Catholic rendition of Gods 4th Commandment. Only they refer to it as the 3rd Commandment. (Because they tore out the 2nd Commandment, Idolatry)..

It's possible that because the church of Rome shortened the Gods Sabbath from 98 words to 8 words..... And when they did it,,, Men FORGOT Gods Sabbath Commandment in it's entirety! Because it was shortened by Rome, men no longer read the 4th Commandment. They disreguarded it! And they still do even to this day.

Satan is the one that is responsible for making up reasons that you can violate Gods Commandment. Such as:

Jesus is my Sabbath. The Sabbath is void. The Sabbath is now Sunday. Those who keep the 7th day are under the law. The Sabbath ended at the cross. We are under grace. And on and on and on.

One thing I'm sure of.... Sunday will be enforced. The religious will run Sunday the 1st day of the week right down the throats the American people, and then the Rest of the world.

It's strong talk,, but all need to know. And all will know. but most will disreguard Gods warning about violating His law and accepting the Mark of the Beast. Nope,,, they shall do Sunday the 1st day of the week over Gods Holy Commandment to honor the 7th day.

I'm just watching it all play out.
Well said Michael, no-one seems to have any problem with murder or stealing. All seem to think it is wrong to take God's name in vain, yet the fourth Commandment is always the one that people want to do away with. Wonder why?

Eze 20:12 Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them.

We have "Sunday" commands in Ex 12:16; Lev 9:1-2; Lev 23:11-21. I wrote a Sabbath/ Sunday essay. My "Sunday" declaration. [email protected]

Whether you worship on Sunday or Saturday the most important thing is that you worship in the spirit. What God wants is true worship and his temple is our bodies. When we live a holy life i.e life without hatred, wickedness, envy, unworthiness and others we are the true worshippers. Days are not important, remember what the Bible says that on the last day God will not ask who worshipped in the synagogue but who worshipped in truth and spirit

Hello,am getting confused with the real day of worship.During my high school i study at a certain school of Seventy Day Adventist Church. And this denomination worship on Saturday.During my stay at that school the preacher and the teachers used to convince none SDA church to be baptized again and follow the way of worship of that denomination. This church urguing that a real day of worship is Saturday which the Lord God Bless it.
Please help me for this questions with verses from the Bible so that i may understand the which is the real day of worship.

With all due respect to those who hold to the seventh day worship

That and the Gentile calendar happened to begin by making the last day of the week Saturday and the first day of the week Sunday.

Due to the old testament which did not have names for their days, then any day of the week is acceptable to worship. There is an error to ascribe the 7th Gentile calendar day as the only correct day of worship to be Saturday.

If the rule is followed dogmatically, then it makes the apostles of the new testament in violation of the old testament. And if they are violating that, then, logically, morally, how can their teachings in every other area be fully followed?

The argument for insisting that the true Sabbath is only Saturday is therefore undermining the inspired authority of the apostles of the new testament who taught that it is acceptable to worship on any day. And who had their church meetings on the first day of the week (when Jesus Christ arose from the dead), Sunday. While the Jews had their synagogue meetings on the seventh day, Saturday.

I suppose the answer to the original post does depend on which body you are united to. I cannot currently find even one proper example of the commonwealth of Israel (Jerusalem above is free, and the mother of us all) united in spirit and in the work of the earthen vessels occupied by the everlasting priesthood.

Jesus did work on the Sabbath, and we are allowed to follow Him. Every day is a good day to lay down your life for your friends.
John 15:12-14Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. 13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

The Jewish Sabbath was, and still is, Saturday. The Apostles changed the Christian day of worship to Sunday because they rightly believed it was more fitting to offer worship on the day of Jesus Christ's glorious Resurrection than on the day He lay dead in the tomb. Which is why the Bible tells us that the early Christians met for worship "on the first day of the week".

So you're the one digging up old bones.
I don't know what u mean by "old bones". The 1st Adventist factoid told to me was; "We don't actually have a command to go from Sabbath, to Sunday". Meaning commands for "Sunday" doesn't exist. Next i find out; commands for "Sunday" do exist. Again; I wrote what i think of as my "Sunday" declaration. If ur not a fan of mine; then that's ur business.

I think maybe you meant to ask which day should the church service be on.

...........................................This church urguing that a real day of [CHURCH] worship is Saturday which the Lord God Bless it.................................................
Frank
But as Adam & Eve most likely never kept a calendar, it might be the seventh day since time began could be somewhere between Monday & Friday, but it is hard to go to church on that day because most of us have to go to work.

Then the calendar we use today was one started in 1582 called the "Gregorian calendar"
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gregorian_calendar

Then of course we call saturday - sunday "the weekend" and not the week finish-start so maybe sunday is the seventh day, but what about come calendars that start the week with sunday just to even up the presentation of the weeks that changes things to saturday been the 7th day of the week.

Just a bit of food for thought
But then I have "Missed the bus" a few times

Man is free to worship God all days, but more importantly with all his heart, his whole being without reservation. A true day of worship is every day, as one day a week with the Lord is not enough. Bible commandments to observe the ancient Jewish days and ordinances have been abolished in Christ. The New Testament has no commandment concerning that.

It's good that any congregation chooses Saturdays to worship, but it is not OK with the Lord to judge any other congregation that chooses Sunday, Tuesday, or whatever else. What will cause spiritual problems is for someone to join a congregation, then criticize how they chose to worship. It would be like joining a running club but insisting on operating a bicycle in their midst instead of running. It would be better to join a cycling club.

Leaving that SDA congregation over the issue of Saturday worship isn't a good reason to leave unless you just can't find a job allowing that. A Christian ought to support his family through honest employment, pay the bills, live beyond reproach, too. So if there's an unresolved arrangement, find a congregation that meets on a day you can attend.

Galatians 4:8-11 (KJV)
[SUP]8 [/SUP] Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods.
[SUP]9 [/SUP] But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?
[SUP]10 [/SUP] Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years.
[SUP]11 [/SUP] I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.

Observing days, weeks, etc is weak effort, of little value to a Christian. Slavery to days, weeks, etc comes with those observances.

Colossians 2:13-23 (KJV)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
[SUP]14 [/SUP] Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
[SUP]15 [/SUP] And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
[SUP]16 [/SUP] Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
[SUP]17 [/SUP] Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

[SUP]18 [/SUP] Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
[SUP]19 [/SUP] And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.
[SUP]20 [/SUP] Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,
[SUP]21 [/SUP] (Touch not; taste not; handle not;
[SUP]22 [/SUP] Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?
[SUP]23 [/SUP] Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.

SO why settle for a shadow of a blessing when the actual blessing is yours to hold?

Theres' more to pay attention to than what ur mentioning. What does "Let no man judge you" mean? Ellen and her writings need to get figured out. Is there any possibility of genuine bible; vrs counterfeit? The NKJB triquerta can be dissected into a 666. Adventists usually deny commands for "Sunday"; a true Sabbatarian wouldn't. Ex 12:16; Lev 9:1-2; Lev 23:11-21. The very word "Sabbath" isn't in Genesis; confirmed by Neh 9:13-14. I need a KJB church 1st; then I'll worry about the day. I want to let u know that I wrote a Sabbath/ Sunday essay. Thats in New posts somewhere.

the oracles of God

This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel
which spake to him in [the mount Sina], and with our fathers:

who received the lively oracles [ to give unto us ] Acts 7:38

For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need
that one teach you again which be the first principles of

[the oracles of God]; and are become such as have
need of milk, and not of strong meat. Hebrews 5:12

If any man speak, let him speak as [the oracles of God];
if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth:

that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ,
to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 4:11

What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?
Much every way:chiefly, because that unto them

were committed [the oracles of God]. Romans 3:2

We have "Sunday" commands in Ex 12:16; Lev 9:1-2; Lev 23:11-21.

You might want to go back and reread your bible,
those verses have nothing to do with the weekly sunday worship.

But about Gods yearly Holy convocations,
that the days of these festivals changed every year.

Observing days, weeks, etc is weak effort, of little value to a Christian.
Slavery to days, weeks, etc comes with those observances.

AN OBSERVER OF days or TIMES is not a person keeping Sabbath days,
the weak and beggarly elements are mans ways, not Gods Sabbaths

GAL.4
[8] Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them
which by nature are no gods.[9] But now, after that ye have known God,
or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly
elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?

[10] YE OBSERVE DAYS, AND MONTHS, AND TIMES, AND YEARS.
[11] I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.

Its speaking of those who observe times,
it says nothing about sabbaths or feast days here.

DEUT.18
[9] When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee,
thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.
[10] There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his
daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination,

OR AN OBSERVER OF TIMES, or an enchanter, or a witch,
[11] Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits,
or a wizard, or a necromancer.

2 CHR.33
[3] For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father
had broken down, and he reared up altars for Baalim, and made groves,
and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.
[4] Also he built altars in the house of the LORD, whereof
the LORD had said, In Jerusalem shall my name be for ever.
[5] And he built altars for all the host of heaven in
the two courts of the house of the LORD.
[6] And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom:

ALSO HE OBSERVED TIMES, and used enchantments, and used
witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards:
he wrought much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger

Enchantments, witchcraft, familiar spirits, and wizards.
Its speaking of the occult. Not about following sabbath days.

LEV.19

[26] Ye shall not eat any thing with the blood:
neither shall ye use enchantment, (NOR OBSERVE TIMES).

[27] Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners
of thy beard. Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any
marks upon you: I am the LORD. Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be
a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness.

[30] (YE SHALL KEEP MY SABBATHS), and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.

You shall not observe times, BUT you shall keep my sabbaths says the Lord.

Read my profile for the perspective of an ex Sabbathkeeper.

By the way a lot of these groups who teach the Saturday Sabbath is a requirement, condition, or necessary proof of salvation are simply cults. They not only teach that these things are requirements, conditions or necessary proofs of salvation, but they teach against the Trinity and by definition they do not believe that justification is by faith alone, which makes them non-evangelical.

They teach that they are the only true Church, and that everyone else is following a counterfeit form of Christianity, a false gospel, and that their ministers are "ministers of Satan".

The group that I belonged to even taught that they were going to become literally God in the resurrection. Some of the chatters here belong to those groups, so beware of them. United Church of God, Philadelphia Church of God, Restored Church of God are some of those. They are followers of Herbert Armstrong.

Some of the people on this forum and thread are Armstrongites.

If you believe you need to keep the Sabbath, I suggest finding some place other than a nut job cult to get involved with. Make sure they are not Armstrongites.
