as the earth blows its breeze, so we stand still in awe -
our eyes often tear at the beauty You share and yet,
You have placed us there in Your Love.....

You know, the most incredible thing about Red Bird is the deep tangible meaning brought by such a simple form!

ty joi,

this immediately made me think of a favorite tree of mine that I love,
and that would be a Palm Tree, this tree brings me a feeling of peace...
:) as do some others, but this one stands out....

I just went thru from the beginning to save every one of them in a file... 70 of them! And every single one so precious...

I have every single one of them too.. Four folders full, including the ones from her blogs.. :o

Wow such talent and insight woven together. Joi if you ever start a church I'm joining!

TY, Blue,

I just checked-out Joi's blog and am grateful to be introduced to her poetry...

it is so comforting how when we rest in the Lord and wait for His timing
that good things will always come our way...:)

70 already? My, oh my. Well, now I'm also working on something for late next year. It is red bird's thoughts to go with each picture. Little "sermonettes". Those will be more of a book form.

But, wait, there is some more pictures to come. This little red bird is not leaving yet. Ideas keep coming.

A real fun one coming up......

Oh, and Ricky, I really am a minister/pastor of a small weekly gathering in my home. We call it the "Living" Room. For years, it was comprised of both men and women. And my husband was leading it with me. But, now it is just a women's group of about 12. Yet I still speak at women's retreats and conferences occasionally.

Life with the Lord is amazingly awesome, creative, enriching, inspiring, exciting, and so very healing.
Do I hear an "amen"?

This is an actual place my husband and I went to twice a year. It only figures that red bird would want to visit.
