Very baby like skin! Though yesterday a client treated me to a 24k facial! Now that was a treat and my skin seriously is glowing and looks 5 years younger!
Like this?

YUP!!! Was pretty sweet!!! I much prefer those kinds of gifts from clients. I have gotten so much junk food, although today a big box of Omaha steaks arrived so that was nice!

I would never fork the money out for that Mistpa, no matter how great my skin looks! The whole time I am sitting there thinking there is more gold on my face than the jewelry I own. The lady actually said to my client that my skin was very youthful and she felt it was a waste of money as I wouldn't see major results. And though I don't see major results as honestly I have great skin, I do see results. :)

When I got my first brown spot I started using a 20% vitamin C serum and vitamin E. The spot went away and I use it every day now. I buy it from Amazon it is from Pure Body Naturals

Oh, also, in regards to vitamin C: make sure whatever you try uses a potent, STABLE form of the molecule. The cheaper brands typically are not stable, so the vitamin C loses it's efficacy once exposed to the air. It's a very delicate molecule :)

Skittles, I HAVE to give you props!

As much as i loved my facewash, your post inspired me to start researching more stable forms of vitamin c and i found a serum that uses the magnesium ascorbyl phosphate form of vit c. I've been using for a few weeks and i feel like my skin glows :D. i have two blemishes on my cheek that are almost invisible now.

that one, I bought it online...it's called silk naturals vitamin c peptide serum (you can Google the silk naturals website).

I'm not sure where or even if it's physically distributed in stores, but if you're looking for something comparable locally, i was looking for a serum that used either magnesium ascorbyl phosphate or ascorbic acid - both forms of vitamin c.

I have been told in recent years, many times, about the benefits of glycolic acid. I finally broke down and looked into an over the counter cream, after seeing a discussion on Dr Oz. It has lightened spots on my face & the back of my hands. I've been using it less than a month, 3 nights a week, two months on, two months off is the suggested practice. The product line I purchased is called "Reviva" labs, there is a 5% or 10%, I started with the 10%, light application. I buy it from, The Vitamin Shoppe (sp?), I think it was about $20.

Have you tried anything yet for the spots, Mitspa? Just curious if anything had started working for you

I've been meaning to post a thread about organic apple cider vinegar and then yesterday I thought, wait, age spots. I wanted to google first, sure enough there is mention of it. I have been using it as a body rinse & on my face for close to a year, half water & half vinegar mixture. It is a great astringent and exfoliation product. Does wonders for scalp health. It helps with premature hair loss, too. Anyway, if you choose to add a retinol product to your eventual trials, I think it will bring good results in combination to the Vitamin C & glycolic acid cream.

1) You can use glycolic acid cream in conjunction with retinol, at night.

2) You cannot use Vitamin C with retinol, so, use the vitamin C in the morning, before you apply sunscreen.

I suggest burt's bees sunscreen and Neutrogena rapid tone repair(night), it's a great retinol product for about $20. Retinol may lend to hyper-pigmentation with prolonged sun exposure, so use sunscreen. Don't just do your face once you begin a regimen, do your neck down to your chest also, at least past where your shirt collar rests. And, a little product goes a long way, less is more. When you invest in these products, they should last few months at least.
