EG you are such a pompous wind bag, you cut as much ice as a jelly

again, this is rediculous. and you call yourself a man of God.

All you do is cut peoiple down, and make sly remarks, Thats why I made the comment I did.

Just for your information, I have seen most of what Ben has said in these chat rooms, I have never seen him change his stance on anything he believes.

this why I made my comment, it was rediculous to claim he would change his mind, and believe something else. When he has been the same since day one.. Unless I missed something..

Ben. What might be in your mind might not contradict your thoughts, but your language does.

"In understanding God's grace, when we sin a repentance happens "

This is a sentance with a cause sin effect repentance. Sin does not cause repentance, the conviction of sin brings awarness of the sin and the believer chooses to repent or not.

What you wrote was not that. Now if you want to dispute your own words, it is pointless, as it means what it means.

This is not a way to honour our Lord or truth. Unfortunately if truth matters this little to you, I cannot take you seriously, even though you appear very articulate this is a simple 15 year old error.

Now to suggest I am miss-representing what you write, is actually slander. It is up to the reader to decide, my conscience is clear.

You sin and you acknowledge that sin is washed in the blood of Jesus Christ. I am using repentance in the form of a "change of mind." No longer does sin alienate me, or condemn me before God because of Jesus Christ. I am changing my mind towards Christ, I am dependent upon His sacrifice. I don't beg for forgiveness, I have it. Praise God!

It is you who is trying to paint us badly as saying we can sin all we want and not change our conduct. This is a lie, and is bearing false witness. Is it intentional? I cannot say, but it is happening. Do we need to repent of our sins? Yes. How? Not through sin confession and graveling, but through a renewal of the mind. Our victory is found in God's word by finding out what we have in Christ, and who we are in Him. The righteousness of God, in Jesus Christ and being made new creations, dead to sin and alive unto God.

You speak of slander... what is it to accuse someone of living licentiously in sin and never repenting of it? Yet my words are contrary to what you accuse me of saying. Then you have HeRoseFromTheDead continuing the same thing by sarcasm and also too presenting us falsely comparing us to Gnosticism.

Your conscience may be clear, but your actions are not. However, and praise God, thank the Lord for the blood of Jesus Christ. :) You sinned this very morning in insulting eternally-gratefull, is that Christ-like? Of course not, but where you may feel you need to confess to the Lord your sin and repent I know that you've already been washed in His blood and that those actions are not in line with who you are in Christ. Sure, you ought to make amends to EG on a personal level but between you and God, all is well by the blood of Jesus Christ.

BENFTW when was you justified? at the cross when Jesus died or at your Conversion?

if they have already been forgiven, there can be no punishment of a believer's sins, even by his Father (GOD).

if God as a Father must deal with the sins of his "children" how can He justly deal with them in any sense differently from that in which he deals with the sins of other men as the judge of all the earth?

Genesis 18:25 (KJV)
[SUP]25 [/SUP] That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?

No. (2:30 AM almost, so keeping this reply short). That isn't the case because we are new creations, dead to sin and set free from sin's dominion.

You sin and you acknowledge that sin is washed in the blood of Jesus Christ. I am using repentance in the form of a "change of mind."

You have a problem in your chain of thought. Unless you have a framework of how you define what is sin and what is not, you give no guide to any believer. You hold "law" is wrong, evil. Prince preaches the Holy Spirit does not convict of sin.
Some have said their conscience should not convict of sin. So how do you know when you sin or what it is?

Now your repentance is not even acknowledging sin but just communing with God. You use all the right language but without the implications I understand. We therefore do not recognise this as repentance. As you do not differentiate between guilty over circumstance and real sin, all your reference points are vapour ware.

It makes it hard for use to recognise anything you are suggesting as christian. The law is a benchmark, and Jesus's commands but you seem to deny even this language.

You say I insult EG. How have I insulted him? He continually condemns, rejects, tells me that I am not a believer etc.
I have no reason to regard him with any respect at all. Do you understand what standing over a fellow believer like this means? It is condemnation of the very work Christ has done within you. But that matters nothing to EG.
Time and time again I am told how hypocritical I am for not being an OSAS follower. Again this is not of the Lord.

So there is nothing here I can repent of, because I have actually done nothing wrong but honestly reflected what you believe and have done. If you do not like the mirror change your behaviour. I hold no malice or bitterness about anyone here, literally. I just wonder who you think Jesus is to end up in this strange position.

in regards to this idea that God forgives our future sins before they happen: didn't the prodical son have to come back home?
he got sick of the hog pen and said "i will arise and go to my father"

was he working, earning his salvation?

there is a verse in Ezekiel that I think really applies to the preachers, preaching this HYPER-GRACE doctrine:
Ezekiel 13:22 (KJV)
[SUP]22 [/SUP] Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life:

why would the wicked want to stop sinning? (your promising them life)

wait that's right, I almost forgot what BENFTW said in an earlier post that "he is repenting before he sin"

If you want to know what he preaches, listen to him. There are tons of his messages on YouTube.

-JGIG

I don't receive the testimony of men because the Testimony of God is greater. And I also do not need to look up what Joseph Prince teaches because his disciples are flooding the forum with tons of his false doctrine. :)

if you believe in this hyper-grace and God forgives future sins before they are committed then you must believe you can live any lifestyle you want.......even murder, suicide etc....an there's is no punishment for it.

"Christians were not justified at calvary we were justified at conversion, big difference

You WERE justified at the Cross - Christ died not only for your sins but for the sins of the whole world (1 Jn. 2:2).

You weren't saved until you RECEIVED what Christ did at the Cross.

The Work was finished nearly 2000 years ago (when all of YOUR sins were in the future), when we receive what Christ did, we enter into His salvation.

To say that your future sins must still be forgiven, that means that blood must be shed. There is no more sacrifices for sin - the Old Covenant is obsolete and Christ is not coming back to shed more blood, so if what He already did didn't work, then we're all doomed.

Think about it.

In another thread Ben created the idea . . .

You constantly are telling the readers here that we say things that we do not say.

An Exhortation: Start posting the text AND linking to the posts you're talking about.

And it doesn't matter what Ben or Gr8Grace, or Grace777x70, or JGIG or anyone else has to say. It matters what Scripture has to say.

Why don't you start making your points using contextual Scripture instead of continually misrepresenting what those who ARE using contextual Scripture are saying?

-JGIG

Amen..one could say His love took care of the justice...I tend to look at it more from this angle...God needs to get rid of the sin that is destroying the ones He loves deeply. It is definitely because of love He sent Jesus.

I think of God against sin like..being a mother..

I think of it like a mother sees her toddler out in the yard and hornets are stinging him...she runs and hits at the hornets to get them off her son...to the son it "looks" like the mother is mad at the son..but she is really after the hornets.

I hope I am articulating that right..

I get it - God showed it to me this way:

God doesn't hate sin just because it's bad or wrong; God hates sin because of what it does to His kids and His creation.

There's a long story about how He showed me that, and it has to do with Grace and Mercy manifesting in a fallen world, but I don't have time to tell it here today =o).

Is it written on the web site? I'd like to read that.

This is a fallacy that keeps being repeated. I read something similar on a hypergrace website.

Note: The danger of believing that past sins are covered only by the cross: is that every time you now sin you can never be forgiven because Jesus isn’t going to die again for you.

This just reflects an ignorance of old covenant law. Israel's sins were not forgiven until the blood was taken behind the veil and sprinkled on the mercyseat. That was just a shadow of Christ taking his blood into heaven to present to GOD. It is now sprinkled where he sits at GOD's right hand. It is there forever; Christ doesn't have to die again because he ever lives with his blood interceding as high priest for our sins.

But you have come to Mount Zion, and to the city of the living God, to the heavenly Jerusalem, and to tens of thousands of angels, to the festal gathering and assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God the judge of all, and to the spirits of righteous [people] made perfect, and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks better than Abel’s [does]. Hebrews 12:22-24

You got it going on Sister. And you could rightly so be focused on your son and here you are focused on THE Son. God bless you, I will shine your shoes in the eternal state.

Sin is judged and paid for. Sin is not the issue for God anymore......He doesn't want us living independently from Him. He KNOWS we can't do it. He has our best interest in mind.

Sin and human good cause us to live independently from our Daddy.

And this makes total sense to me and I know to you and others..........God is not sin focused, He is Son focused.

Who here is doing that?

Please, if anyone is, copy it here and post the link.

I believe that remark was originally aimed in my direction. I didn't respond since I've gotten kind of used to people on here calling me a blatant sinner because of some of my expressed beliefs.

Is it written on the web site? I'd like to read that.

It's not - it's something I've never written out - something that God showed me many years ago as my sweet Granny was in her final days.

You can have that fixed for a measly $1,000.......just sayin'

Well said!....Herein lies the rub with the work of the flesh or of the spirit as you so adequately outlined....living independent of Him by sin and human good cause........what a subtle creature self-effort is...it look so pious on the outside but it denies the power for real change......well said...
