It's true. That is why I came is to find some happy fellowship. Tex was trying to cool things down and get that wonderful praise God forum going. Guess this was the wrong forum. I never knew it could not be in the bible discussion forum. Here is what my bro was asking " Y'all come in here and just say how much you love God and see how y'all been doing, maybe even unload a little.. There's a Marshall in here... I've got a loaded tater gun..and I AIN'T afraid to use it...... " And he added his own unique sense of humour. Come on guys what's the problem?

Consider yourself blessed. It is sometimes a lot to have to unlearn to get back to truth.
 
Now that is so true..we get our minds filled with religious traditions and when someone challenges them...we can go berserk thinking we are "defending the faith"....in reality ..

..they are just "sacred cows" that need to be sacrificed in order to grow up in the grace and knowledge of Jesus our Lord.

so often, people worship their traditions and church doctrine instead of really worshiping the Real Living God.
 
I guess this forum is for deep bible battles studies and the one tex wanted was in testimonies only bible study. But he meant no harm so bad mouthing might not have been called for. ( at least I hope he meant no harm ) Love you in Christ tex. I'm out of here.

Gotta gives a praise report to this site, although, some peoples bethinks is quite liberal on the "enforcing" end, by not kicking everyone out who doesn't agree with their point of view. Course, in my opinion, there many peoples in here, wouldn't know the spirit of instaed of christ, if it came up n bit 'em. Tries n helps n giudes thems that I can, with what little time remains afores Jesus comes back, er I get to see the business end of a lawnmower.....whichever comes first! :cool:

Some wouldst rather stay with abounding grace in Jesus at the cross (low maintenance), then press onwards to the Father, (higher maintenance is required, to keep one's election assured), as one is confessed before Him by His Son, as His Son is confessed before people.

And, ya know what I hears a lots? "All these peoples celebrating My Son (which is good, by the way)....What about ME?" Oh, I see, Jesus IS The Father......He ain't! Jesus created this world (age) for, and by Himself....He didn't!

"Why oh WHY, are peoples SO AFRAID, to come unto Me?! I am so very slow to anger."

People seem to think that the government of God was abolished with the New Covenant......It wasn't!

This government IS on Jesus' shoulders, cuz He's carrying it around, Yet Jesus ain't the government, and ya ain't gonna get to the government, save by Jesus, but ya hafta: "LET GO, TO GROW."

It's not something I do often, but it has happened; however, it is very rare...

I have noticed others 'like' one of my posts - and then, 'unlike' it afterwards.

"It happens. I would not place too much significance on it. Of course, getting 'likes' is nice - don't get me wrong - and they can sometimes be very encouraging. Just don't let too much 'ride' on them - if you know what I mean..."
