Unfortunately your stepsisters experience has nothing to do with what Jesus did when He came here to show us the heart of the Father. We cannot let our experiences dictate truth...only scripture does that and Jesus is perfect theology. You never see Jesus refusing anyone that came to Him to be healed.
Sometimes we look to the man for healing...but only Jesus is our healer!
Take the incident where the disciples couldn't get a demon cast out and then Jesus came and healed the boy. To any on-lookers they would say.."See..it's not God's will to heal because the disciples couldn't get it done...but when Jesus ( Mr. perfect theology ) showed up - He showed that it was in fact the Father's will for that boy to get well.
Acts 10:38 (NASB)
[SUP]38 [/SUP] "You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.
It is always God's will to heal people...it's in the gospel ( see post #78 )..in saying that..there can come a time where we can give up our lives for Christ by standing for Him as our brethren are in Syria right now. That is a different from having a sickness on us. Our physical bodies will eventually wear out and we'll leave our bodies here but there is the hope of a new body - a glorified one in Christ!

My stepsister chased faith healers around and she still died. She brought people who walked with two canes who should have been in wheelchairs to be healed and they left the same way they came in.
