Healing: A Question to Ponder

I'm sorry you feel this way. Whether you're on board or not, the train has already left the station. Try explaining your conspiracy theory to someone with a child dying from leukemia. This thread is about healing, so imagine a world where the OP never had to have that experience. There's always a line to be drawn, but I think you imagine the world through Frankenstein.

I assumed wrong yet again. I also don't think this side issue of medical morality has anything to do with the topic of God healing, however...
Ummm? Man's manipulation? Like that pig's valve now helping to pump hubby's heart? Thank God for "man's manipulation!"
I suppose if they keep adding animal parts to people there could be a discussion on how many parts before the person stops being a person, but it hasn't gotten that far yet. And I suppose if a pig needed my stem cells, that could start a different discussion, but until that line is crossed, I'm all for God helping scientists manipulate to add to life.
I did get a kick out of the doctors telling me it was a "porcine valve." Until I realized it wasn't enough syllables to be porcelain, I pictured a valve made of pottery. I suspect they did that in case I'd freak that he has piggy in him, but we're not kosher, so okay. He's alive. The best use of pig product over the last Christmas holiday, and I hope someone got to eat the rest of the pig. lol

I don't "imagine" the world through anything but the reputation that man has made for himself.... Curing someone of a disease is one thing..... I'm not talking about research done for curing disease.... I'm talking about stem cell research having been completed and continues for "creating" life outside of God's plan and intention.....i never said anything about helping cure a disease...

Yes, there is! God foresaw all these things and He has promised in His Word protection from every evil known to man. There is no trap set by the devil that our Father cannot deliver us from, if we trust in Him and take Him as our refuge. That is His promise in Psalm 91.
Whether it is an earthquake at midnight, a crazy sniper, an unknown virus or a terrorist attack, God says, “You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.” (Psalm 91:5–6)
Because you have made Him your dwelling place, angels are watching over you right now. (Psalm 91:9–11) They give heed to the voice of God’s Word, so you should give voice to God’s Word. This means that you should agree with and speak what God’s Word says about His preserving and protecting you. Then, angels are sent to minister for you. (Hebrews 1:14)
My friend, don’t say, “If it can happen to them, it can also happen to me!” Say, “A thousand may fall at my side and 10,000 at my right hand, but it will not come near me!” (Psalm 91:7) The world says that you cannot but expect danger all around. God says, “You are in this world but not of this world. You have My protection because you are of Me and in Me.” (John 17:14–23)
You have access by faith into the secret place of the Most High where no evil can touch you. There is no need to fear living in the end times because the Lord is your refuge and fortress. His Word says so. And those who trust His Word completely find His Word completely true![/TD]
