Why do Americans vote for empty promises year after year, decade after decade?
When will we value freedom once again, as our forefathers did?
Who will take us to liberty?

My sentiments precisely. Trump is doing the same thing Obama did which is to pick the current hot topic and milk it to win the election.

Utah...must one have voted for Obama? What if they did, or didn't? Would it ruin their relationship with JESUS CHRIST? Here, please do take this soft pillow, my blanket, and a cup of warm milk so you can relax for the moment and bounce back a more happier, fun loving person by this afternoon.

This is what every politician is doing. Empty promises all the way to DC, and when elected they've mystically forgotten every darn promise they ever made. But guess what? Voters don't recollect nothing of the baloney either, and 4 or 8 years later and they are happily electing the next candidate saying whatever it takes to win.

Lol saw this on the news and found the video and thought it be funny for ya'll fellow CCers no matter your opinion on Trump. For that matter I never got into Game of Thrones at all besides just the cool name and some of the music I've heard people cover/remix of it, but this made me laugh.

So says Reverend Killjoy.

I'll be much happier 1/20/17. Till then, I'll let you know if I'm interested in anything you have to say.

Under Trump:

Christians will be safe.
The 2nd Amendment will be safe.
There will be job growth.
Less people will be given un-entitlements.
Our military will be stronger.

But you don't like any of those concepts I take it.

His immigration policy will cost anywhere from six to eight billion to enforce. Food prices will skyrocket as farmers lose the cheap labor of emigrants. Terrorist attacks will increase dramatically due to his unnecessary provocation. When he's done bankrupting our nation he'll cut his losses and run just like he always does

Your aggrandizement is quite amusing . . . and pitiful. When you've been proven completely wrong you'll still no doubt continue to be disingenuous about Trump in one manner or another.

Made money every time. How will you define success? Borrowing trillions that can never be paid back or making bank off of a failed business or bankruptcy?

I'm not certain that I would be against him finding a way to default on the debt that has been run up at the expense of the American citizens. I wonder if he has a plan to beat the world criminals at their own game.

For the cause of Christ

Not a single country has defaulted on it's debt (at least in recent history) has dodged having their economy collapse via hyperinflation.

I kind of like Rubio myself, Trump has good ideas but I can't say I trust him to actually accomplish them. He also has some clear character flaws, not completely convinced he wasn't paid by the democratic party to ensure there win in the end. Despite all that he may be the only canidite with the momentum to beat Clinton if he is legitimately running so he may end up with my vote.

I wouldn't call him psycho but he does have a huge ego and does adore beautiful women ( he owned the Miss America pageant for a number of years)... BUT he hasn't been charged with infidelity like Mr. Clinton was, and he's not accused of ever being with a prostitute like Elliot Spitzer was, and on top of that, he has raised successful, business-minded children who adore him as a father. They're not just spoiled brats partying thier brains out while living off of daddy's money. His children work in the company's development and acquisitions. That is certainly no mickey mouse position. They're in charge of looking for good investments and deciding what businesses to buy.

Behind Trump's brash new yorker personality is a very talented businessman who knows how to negotiate and deal with powerful corporations, heads of state, etc.. I read his book Art of the Deal back in the 80's when it came out. What people see as a lunatic is just his outspokenness. He doesn't care what anyone thinks of what he says. That is how a no-nonsense business leader operates. He is basically the Simon Cowell of politics.

Six to eight billion? If that is all it will cost it will be a bargain. The nation is already bankrupt.

So no one thinks it odd that Trump has always been a liberal Democrat up until this election?

trump doesn't even know what christianity is...let alone how to protect christians...
trump has already made multiple proposals limiting second amendment rights...
trump's tax proposal has been determined by a conservative institute to add over $10 trillion to the national debt...job growth is less and less likely under more and more crushing debt...
trump's favorable view of single payer health care makes him more likely to give out more and more entitlements...
trump's proposal to invade the middle east...take the oil...and evidently guard it indefinitely in hostile territory would bleed the military rather than make it stronger...

but you like all of these concepts i take it...
