That sounds risky : p What will you ask them, specifically?
(Am curious : p)
There's never risk involved when you ask someone questions in a respectful manner whereby you're simply trying to gain understanding. :)

I'm friends with one team in particular and they're very open about their sexuality. I'll ask them about the short crop hairdos and I'm sure the answer will simply be because they like the style. Nothing more, nothing less. :)

Not always, there are women in that lifestyle that do "identify" with the feminine aspect. Just like there are men in that lifesyle who live and act masculine.
Yea I agree, I forgot to mention that, but my point is whether the mother or father is missing they will go to that role of the person who is missing...For example, if the mom is there but the father is not and it is a woman...would she lean more towards being the "male" lesbian in the lesbian relationship? This is just my theory, no science or any proof but I'm interested in getting your perspective on this... :)

Actually I have wondered about the parental role thing, too. (I come from the transgender lifestyle) I grew up without a dad, I was always around my mom and she and I were very close. I have actually wondered if that ever had any impact on the life I ended up living later on.

But, I did actually seek that life as a very young child (I have memories and my mom has stories from as far back as 3 years old), and at that time my father was around. So I dunno, Im kinda doubting it, tbh : p

Praise God!, that's awesome and since you know about it you're able to relate to people still trapped in that lifestyle whereas others may cast a judging eye...you can witness to people more effectively b/c you know their point of view...God is awesome in saving people to be used later on for His glory...

God is more awesome and wonderful than people know : p If only they were willing to step back from their pleasures and fantasies to see who He really is, and accepted Him. they wouldnt want to go back.
(Sorry if Im derailing the convo : /)

Not hard core, its the Lesbians who want to take on the male role who tend to do that.
Some women wish not to have to brush their hair for an hour each day and it gets hot in the summer time to have a lot of hair.

That's me four years ago. My husband took the picture.

Could it be you just judge minor stuff too easily?
I use to have short hair when I traveled a lot,it was just easier to keep. Now I keep it longer in the winter, shorter in the summer. Its nice to see your face and see who Im talking to! :D

I always figured they were defying societies dominated by straight men, but you may be on to something here. Defying God takes on a whole new meaning. Next month starts softball season here in Jersey and every Tuesday evening I go watch the women's games where the overwhelming majority of players are lesbian. I'll keep this thread in mind and ask them.
You'll ask them? lol I wish I could see that. Leave it to you...

It's rebelling against their God given identity... 9/10 times if I see long hair from behind ( say a person is facing away from me) I think it's a woman. Sure there are guys occasionally with long hair but most of the time it's a way to identify a female. Cutting it short is a way of being masculine and showing that they are "tough" and not womanly.....which is more associated with a caring/comforting nature...
Lesbianism is a way of taking the male's role (protection/leadership) and trying to fulfill it through a woman who probably lacked it in some form from a male figure in their life either absent/present but not showing protection/leadership to the affected woman....a lot of these people come from broken homes where one parent is not providing the other needed dynamic that God intended whether male or female so the person ends up confused about themselves and trying to fulfill the missing role in any way possible....jmo

Sorry,I disagree. A woman can have short hair and still look very feminine.I use to cut my hair short and there was no way you'd mistake me for a man! Trust me. Its an attitude and an all over look to mimic a man as much as a gay man tries to be feminine. But a woman can have short hair and look like a woman.

Do you mean the issues that come about from being mocked and insulted?
Yeah, that and other things. Being put down for not acting traditionally. I also have had serious issues with how males are often talked about in todays socitey, I grew up with some sexist women who would intentionally talk to my brother and I about how all males are pigs and sexist and only want one thing ect ect, and I had shameful feelings for that once, and my brother became stand off-ish with females when he was younger, taking up sexist views of his own, and I 100% believe a part of it was from what happened to us as children. The same thing can happen on both ends, its something that I still kinda deal with today.

Yes a demon that makes them look like a guy enters and a lot of times because of sexual abuse.
I used to draw a beard (lol not always and not in public) and walk around dressed up as a guy for that reason and had those filthy thoughts as if I was a man until that demon got kicked out.
This a great testimony:

Thanks for posting that video, praise God. I've also heard that sexual abuse is a common cause of why people turn to that lifestyle.

Would you feel comfortable sharing your testimony about your experience?

IMO most women grow their long for men. If you don't want a man in your life, then why have long hair? It's a hassle. That's why virtually all older western women cut their hair short because it's much easier to take care of, and to large degree, they are completely over trying to please men with their looks.

Oh I wasn't lesbian, but I had those thoughts and also like haunting OCD thoughts and guys didn't like me because I dressed in male denim and such. Someone just kicked it out and it was instantly gone.
I read that there were a lot of women who first were lesbian, but just got set free and married a man, but they were ashamed or something, so noone knew about it.

Long hair is much more handy. If you don't have to do effort for a man you can just put it in a messy knot. Not all women have the face or hair for it. On some short hair looks much better. My sister cut it shorter because her husband liked it that way and it looks much better on her, but not a male coupe. If you're 80 and it's gray it doesn't really look beautiful to have it long.

Humm I dont know. When I had short hair I had to get it cut all the time. I have hair to my shoulders now and haven't had it cut since before Christmas. I brush it and pin it up on either side or half up and half down and if I go out I curl it. There,my hairstyles, like you were dying to know. lol lol

I loathe my carnal self that always makes assumptions according to the flesh. I so love that in Christ I don't have to give any credence whatsoever to my worldly self and can just treat people as friends. Man, what liberty!
