Once again, as part of the Trinitarian Godhead, He did indeed speak out against homosexuality in the scriptures.

Do you actually believe Jesus does not agree with what is stated about homosexuality in the Bible?
Yes ... also ...

JOHN 21:25
"Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written"

Please post a Scripture of Jesus, as the eternal second person of the
Godhead, in His earthly incarnation, speaking about homosexuality.
Any one of any that you say exist will be fine. Thank you :)

Oh, so unless Jesus spoke about something when He was in His earthly incarnation, it doesn't count?

Again, I ask this question: " Do you actually believe Jesus does not agree with what is stated about homosexuality in the Bible? "

I said Jesus did not say anything about homosexuality while He walked
this earth. Why are you so loathe to cede this point? It is true.

Magenta, it doesn't matter a single bit if Jesus spoke about homosexuality while He was on this earth or not. The point is: The Godhead can only be in perfect agreement on all things. The Holy Spirit inspired the biblical writers to condemn homosexuality. Thus, Jesus, as well as the Father, condemn homosexuality.

Meanwhile, Jesus is not recorded as having said one word about it while He walked this world during His earthly ministry. True? Yes, Magenta, you are correct, Jesus did not utter one word about homosexuality while He walked this world, at least, nothing was recorded for our edification on this matter by His apostles while they were with Him. Why thank you Budman, that is very gracious of you to concede that point. Thank you :)

I believe the reason some Christians support homosexuality is because they believe you can have love without the truth. And they live in a society which presses its own ethical views, and have not yet succeeded in walking in Christ's freedom from society. There's a division between society's ethics and religious spirit's ethics and while fleeing from one, they can get caught in the other.

Magenta, I'm actually surprised that you would resort to posting something like that. You completely avoided the issue altogether.

Just answer this, please. Does Jesus agree with what the Holy Spirit inspired the biblical writers to record regarding homosexuality?

If so. Jesus indeed condemns homosexuality.

If not. Please explain how Jesus and the Holy Spirit can disagree.

Okay, I'll bite.

I agree Jesus did not specifically mention homosexuality while in His earthly incarnation.

But once again, it doesn't matter a whit regarding whether or not Jesus condemns homosexuality.

Now. Please answer mine:

" Does Jesus agree with what the Holy Spirit inspired the biblical writers to record regarding homosexuality?

If so. Jesus indeed condemns homosexuality.

If not. Please explain how Jesus and the Holy Spirit can disagree."

You are confused if you read that into what I said.
Thank you for acknowledging that fact.

Jesus is in complete agreement with God on the subject. It was wrong in the OT and its still wrong in the NT. Just because Jesus didn't restate everything God had said in the OT doesn't mean they aren't in complete agreement. God said it was an abomination, why would that suddenly change in the NT? It hasn't. Now I believe we are living in grace,I dont believe we put some to death for being homosexual. But its as wrong now as it was in the OT. Its mentioned in the NT as wrong. Nothing changed between the two.

I am confused as to why it was even brought up.

Why else bring it up. unless you use it as an excuse. Can you tell me that?

With all due respect Magenta - Jesus did mention homosexuality. The Holy Spirit inspired the Scriptures. The Holy Spirit is God. Jesus is also God. Thus, Scripture is from Jesus as well as from the Father.

And so, Jesus condemned homosexuality in the Bible.
You started this Budman.
It's a silly argument, you've started.

I'll play.

I disagree with you.

Gosh it took you long enough. Thank you. Are Jesus and the Holy Spirit of God in agreement? Of course they are. One thing I notice is that homosexuality is lumped in with any other number of sins, even lying. Liars will not inherit the kingdom of God. Have we not all lied at some point? Does that make us all liars? Also, Paul, when he talks about homosexuality, says that men (and women too) abandoned natural relations with the opposite sex, and that God then gave them over to their shameful desires. Do all homosexuals originally have natural feelings of desire for the opposite sex? This is just something I wonder about, because if it is not natural for them to desire the opposite sex, then they have not abandoned what is natural.

Okay. Please explain why you disagree. and why you think it's silly I take offense at the idea Jesus and the Holy Spirit have conflicting views regarding homosexuality.

Are Jesus and the Holy Spirit of God in agreement? Of course they are.

Thank-you. That's all I was looking for. :)
