Where does it say that the person does not have eternal life in the sower sows the Word? I'm reading that now but no where in Matt 13 does it say that..I'll check Marks's account while you answer...thanks
The seed or plant died and there was no fruit.
Doesn't sound saved. He cursed that tree that had no fruit.

I just checked Mark's account of the sower and he doesn't say either that people didn't have eternal salvation. These parables are Jesus showing us how the word of God works in people's hearts.

It does say for those that have afflictions and persecutions because of the word...fall away. this word in the greek mean " to be offended"..and it also means to be a "trap" ..it has nothing to do people not having eternal salvation or having salvation at first and then losing it. This is called "reading" in the scriptures.

Parables of the kingdom are how things work ( or laws that govern how things occur ) in God's kingdom.
Well he told the ones that fell away: go away from Me you evil doers. I never knew you. But there's also the ones that get saved during the trib.

That's called "reading into the scriptures"......the thief on the cross didn't "appear" to be saved either...it looked like he was cursed too..he died on that cross..

Let's say the Christian is an orange tree.....if that orange tree died for whatever reason before an actual orange came out...does that negate the fact that the orange tree was really an orange tree to begin with?

Now...religious people would say.."You need to have 10 oranges on your tree before you are a Christian"..another group says.." We have 40 oranges on our tree - so we are saved "....the one with 40 oranges looks down on the one with only 10 oranges - they are not as holy or "doing the works" they are....No..the life is in the seed that produced the orange tree ( Christian )

1 Peter 1:23 (KJV)
[SUP]23 [/SUP] Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

The seed or plant died and there was no fruit.
Doesn't sound saved. He cursed that tree that had no fruit.

So teach the others that their future sins are forgiven and they are secure if they do the things Paul warns for, handy. And then simply say: oh you are a false christian. It could have become a real christian who repented and got set free if they hadn't been taught this lie.
So teach people they must earn salvation. That God lied, and the gift he is trying to give you is no gift at all because God can take it back at any time.

No. Lets teach people the have fallen short of the glory of God. are fallen short. and will fall short until God returns. and there is nothing on earth we can do to change that, No matter how good we THINK we are. we will continue to fall short. Because Gods standard is perfection. And only one man every walked the earth perfect since the fall of man, and that was Christ.

That in our fallen state, everything we do to try to fill that void that was put on us when we walked away from God (mankind) is not able to fill that void. That the things we do to make us happy, seems to fail, and never works, we always need more, because it is never enough. Why is this?

You get people to question. Then you tell people truth, You do not give them a false sense of security that they can be good enough to earn salvation. THATS WORSE!

Because the only way that can be true is to lower Gods standard. Because no one can live up to Gods standard. Not you. Not me, Not anyone else.

Telling them they can, THATS DANGEROUS.. because they will be self decieved, self righteous people who think they are saved, but have never met God, nor do they know a thing about him.

That part from the grace teaching is awesome but they go too far.
On one hand there are people who need grace preaching, others who are in sin need a holiness preaching. That's why they had 2 Hill's in Brownsville I read. The ones that were really saved felt condemned by Steve Hill.

The gift is not eternal salvation, here, doesn't matter what you do with it, but all who accepted Him he gave the power to become sons of God.
Paul had to have birth pangs again for the ones that hadn't repented from their former lifestyle until Christ was seen in them.

As I learn about grace, it is always awesome and bigger than I first heard. And we can't take grace too far because it is an ocean we are just learning about. The more I learn about the love of God In Christ the more I see I've only just touched on a tiny bit and there is always more to come. To be afraid of grace is a tactic I believe is from the enemy. It puts a cap on the love of God In Christ for us. There is no cap.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. It is the Holy Spirit who convicts the world of sin. I don't have to try and take on the job of the Holy Spirit. We are to give out the Gospel of Jesus. Grace and truth came by Jesus. I don't know about Steve Hill or other people. I don't need to know about people to know about what God says about the Gospel of grace and truth. He worked it out the way we needed it and He will do the saving. I do the proclaiming not the convicting. :D

The gift is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Not through my obedience., but Christ's obedience. That is what gives us the power and right to be called the sons of God. Not our working for it. The Holy Spirit will teach us how to work out what Christ has put in us.

Paul was a minister of the gospel and had a great love for his people. God gives us His love for others. We will be wanting to contend for the Gospel so that those who are bound will be set free from sin and death. But it won't be done by words of ours but by the word of God that is Alive, powerful and sharper than a two edged sword., cutting through the dividing asunder of soul and spirit.....

It's wonderful how God worked it out that He did it all. We receive from Him.

Any who believe they are given the authority to edit God's Word are mistaken. We are to obey Him. If you do not have a grip on what exactly we are to obey, just ask Him, and learn from the Master Who shows us by His Example, and He teaches us directly if we study what and how He teaches. There is no place in the New Testament where Jesus instructs us to disobey the commandments of God, but there are places where He tells us to obey them. Learn what and how, from HIM.
Well to quote the great theologian Homer Simpson "duh". We are never told to disobey God. We are also never told that our obedience secures our salvation. Our obedience evidences our salvation.

Our salvation is not about us but about Christ. What can we do, say or think that should be perfect as God sees perfection?

Live for the Lord because you are here to be a witness of what Christ has done for you. You are not here to show others how "Spiritual" you have made yourself.

Jesus did not say to those in the parable of the sower to go away from Me you evil doers...that is "reading into the scriptures "...that is an entirely different scripture in Matt 7 ....let's stick with the sower first..

Parable of the sawyer. They received the Word, believed for a while and fell when the problems came. They didn't have eternal salvation.
You got the judgmental bug. You cannot judge another's salvation. If we take this as they were saved because it please God to save them then their problems were there to help us to learn to rely upon Christ as it pleases God.

The major point of this for me is knowing that salvation is of the Lord. We don't have to worry about how God deals with someone when they get saved. God is able to do far and above what "we" ask and think as well as doing far and above what His "other" children ask or think too. He loves each of His sons and they also have the Holy Spirit just like we do.

Jesus is the only One who can set the captives free. We don't know who is saved and who isn't because many people are moral and do good works. But morality and good works does not change someone into a son. Only the work of Jesus Christ can do this.

the parable of the sower of the sower said there were four types of ground but only ONE good one. The ground that was hardened, the ground that was choked, the ground that was on rock and the good ground. The first three would not produce good fruit' Only the fourth would. Seems pretty clear to me unless we have an axe to grind.

The GOOD ground would produce good fruit, they had been given to Jesus by the Father.

Well, if Jesus once knew someone than He would not say "I never knew you" When you are a son, you are no longer identified as an evil doer. You are always identified as saint or son or sheep. We have a sure salvation not a unsure salvation. If we are given the gift of eternal life, the gift doesn't change to be un-eternal.

We must be able to believe in that fact of our standing IN Christ in order to stand and having done all to stand. Our standing is not in ourselves but in Christ. The battle is the Lords. We are more than conquerors...we are not THE CONQUEROR we are more than conquerors because of Him who loved us. He did it all. We follow Him, we are the sheep of His pasture. These truths will make you joyful and happy to meet the day knowing it is not up to you but He has already won the battle. Amazing how this all comes under the obedience of faith.

In my first cultic church they only taught Galatians 5:19 and every week when I had gotten angry and an outburst of anger I prayed the sinner's prayer again. They didn't even know what born again was. Neither was there any way to get help to get rid of this sin.
Then I got taught OSAS. Nothing you do can get you out of God's love. Great! The guilt was gone. Yet I still had outbursts now and then. After so much years I fell back for a year.
Now I gound the simple gospel of Thorben Sondergaard. How you can be set free from continually having to do the same sin.

Judgemental bug? It's a warning. One guy in church said which was a solution I never heard: Well let's get rid of the weed then.

1. The osas people did not help you. Osas is more than just that, if that is all they said, they left you open to satanic attack.

This is one mistake I think alot of churches make, they are more worried about getting people saved then helping them grow. Then the people who does get saved, Have no help to grow. and many fall off.. lost and hopeless..

All we can pray is they were saved, Because God will keep his word..
2. What happened to Gods word> God tells us how to help with our besetting sin issue.. Why do you have to go to some guy?

I do not like to read long links, can you tell me what he said.

Torben says the sin nature died with Christ. The other link was a youtube video, not too long.

They helped me. Every week I went to the front, got prayer, got inner healing, got demons kicked out.
But they taught that my spirit is 100 percent holy and the soul has to be sanctified so I believed I had this sin nature and had to sin.

Then in the year 2000 he decided to fast for 40 days, because he wanted to bear fruit.

That fast really made a big impact in his life. He experienced a fear of God like never before. He also experienced a freedom from sin. Before this fast Torben lived in Romans 7, like many Christians nowadays: the bad things I do not want to do, I do, and the good things I want to do, I don’t do etc. But now he could live in Romans 6, in freedom from sin, sin has no dominion over you, you are not under the law, but under grace. That is the normal Christian life!

Suddenly he understood: Wow, I am free, free not to sin!*

I began as a Christian but was always weighed down by my sins.

Then I learned about eternal security and my sins fell away.

Then I read on in Romans and found how sin could be overcome.

The answer is in the Scriptures

Scripture clearly teaches against that idea.

Mat 13:28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

We are not able to tell the difference between tares and wheat but the Lord will in the end of the world.
