I've been noticing by way of doing something that a whole ton of life seems to be made up of complaints, all the way from "my back hurts" in a conversational tone, to "Why God, why did You take this person away?" uttered in tones of deepest agony. Hey! I'm gonna be the last to condemn you for a sore back because I have a back too and sometimes it makes life miserable.
Anyway, my point in this thread was to have a place where people could focus on God and what he's done for us, and really be thankful for the big or little things of life; because sometimes that's hard.
I'm going to start off with a big thing...I am unutterably thankful for my LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ, for dying on the cross and bearing Hell for me. I am thankful for His Father, who sent Him to earth, and poured out His wrath on His loving Son Whom He so hated to hurt. I am thankful for The Spirit that lives in me today, and helps me every second. In short right now I feel very, very thankful for God and His providence. Thank you, God!
