Christians in most asian countries are basically rich, in spirit and material things. Why? Because we are blessed by our faithful heavenly father. Why we are bless? because we follow the teachings of the bible diligently. What the bible forbid, we don't do We don't twist facts with lies and most important of all we do maintain a close relationship with our heavenly father.

Oh another forum where I posted there was a guy who got 250.000 a month for work in the ministry.
If you want a lot of money here on earth and dump God for Mammon you are really foolish. The rich fool who stored up all his wealth and died the next day. Don't become like him and don't let the devil fool you with money. I rather have an eternity on golden streets than money now. There are wealthy businessmen who God blessed with money and they give it away, because they don't love it. If you love money and not Him don't expect He's gonna give you money. He's more concerned about your soul. It would be like giving a big huge expensive toy to your kid, knowing it can destroy him.

no i don't think we differ, maybe the wording, obedience is the key to blessing would you disagree with that? when the word says "delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart" to be delighted in Him IS obedience to the Lord. ...forgiving others is also a command of Jesus that is to be obeyed, and brings blessing. what would you disagree with my friend?
You're Funrider, aren't you? He wanted fame and fortune, and money and a good high-paying job, etc. One minute he'd say that he'd trade God for all the money in the world, and the next minute, tell us how much he loved God. Funrider was a troll and after reading your OP, I think you are too. :/ You want a job? Get up off your duff and get one. You want fame, renown, whatever? Work for it, but don't expect God to grant all your selfish wishes. He's NOT a genie in a bottle..

"to say I am delighted in the Lord" means you are also delighted in His ways, his ways are not a burden to live by when you are delighted in Him. Jesus says "you will be blessed if you do these things" many times He says you are blessed if you keep my commands" i agree with your first comment, He is not pleased when we walk in disobedience to His ways, it means we need to repent and start following His ways. He Loves us all, but we are blessed when we follow His ways because they are right. but also, if we don't know all of His ways, we must live up to those we do know until we learn more. obedience is the key to blessing

what you are trying to say is exactly what is in my mind. When God is delighted in you, you will be bless. like what I've said earlier, to be delighted in the lord is what you have said.

lol ypu would make that judgement of me because of my wording? I am absolutely blessed beyond anything i could have ever hoped for in this life and the life to come
maybe our language differences are causing an issue. no the Lord is not pleased with our disobedience at all. but there was a time i lived in disobedience to all i knew was right and I had some small success, but it wasn't blessing that comes through obediance and yet His grace and forgiveness has given me Life and a delight in Him that wants to follow every aspect of His ways. i guess i didn't understand your last question. people can work hard or have a good idea or good product and have riches in this world without even believing in God. But a blessing is different, it is a reward for those who do the right things. and He says "if you Love me, you will obey my commands " more than once. this does not apply to mercy , but material blessings and spiritual growth in Christ these things require obediance
if we want to be blessed in material things, obedience is the key. if we want Gods material blessings disobedience will not allow it unless it be by mercy, and I am no one to command God who to bless or not bless. I do know that He rewards those who DO what He says to do. I guess I'm not too sure if he wont bless someone who disobeys, cant really say that as an absolute. not disagreeing, but I'm not sure. all I know about this is obedience brings blessing, I know this through learning His word, and doing His word, and how blessed I have been since I accepted the importance of obeying Him in all things to the best of my ability. to clarify real quick, Jesus is why we are approved. I had no obedience until i had a relationship with Jesus in Him is my life, my effort to obey is my effort to remain in Him, not looking at rules or regulations But at Jesus, that made me into a different person than I was. to me, obedience comes through Faith in Christ. Had to clarify that its His righteousness that brings blessing, and obedience even is a result of His Grace in imparting that to me. obedience comes through a relationship to Christ, through a relationship with Christ, is our relationship to our Father. and His grace is beyond measure that it changes unrighteous to the righteousness of Christ

we should probably all restrain ourselves to that sort of talk. i'm glad you're not into that Dollar guy or anything -- but you shouldn't be about that $ either. don't even worry about it. none of those things satisfy; they're imitations of real blessings.
i'm not saying God doesn't bless people with material wealth, or that He can't use it, or that it's not in His hand to do so - but real blessings in life are patience, peace in your heart, honor, wisdom, genuine affection.
no amount of 'stuff' or money purchases that. they're found when we stop chasing after material wealth altogether, and run after God.
godliness with contentment is great gain

those two desires are at odds with each other. this is why you can't serve God and $$$$ -- but learning to be content with little is worth more than any amount of money. praise God if He is teaching you that! i grew up poor, and i thank Him for it; He brought me up caring about and respecting the right things, about wisdom and real treasure, not about 'stuff' or 'vanity' -- thank God for adversity!! through it He builds up our hearts and minds.
