She took my two and made me a part time dad, that was the hardest part. Honestly a part of me died during that time.Uh, that sounds like what happeend to me. And she left me with 3 young children to raise. Sorry to hear that, my brother.

I dare say, I believe this redundant thread has run it's crazy course.

Since I believe you are serious, I recommend you ask your pastor. He had the authority to give you the authority. That's different than giving you complete authority. (If you try and learn on here, you too will start believing there IS an age of accountability. That or the only responsibility for a woman is to dress modestly.)so when does a woman stop having authority over man since the age a boy becoming a man differs?
or is it just when a male becomes an adult?
of course, i'm asking about in ministry.
I agree it must have been painful, butI am sorry to hear that, for it must have been painful for you...
i think i'm gonna go back to just reading comments
as i eat m&ms.
See? I may be nuts, but not completely.I give up. You two or three guys just continue to just rant and ramble.
You don't back up your words with evidence.
I tried to prompt you to do this in a mature academic fashion.
So then milk it is for you. On the tether.
There is no sense in going any further with this with you all.
Continue as you are; you may not die in your sin, but you will in your obstinacy.
Doesn't the proverbs say something about throwing pearls before swine?
And a fool continues to answers the nescient?
That's what happens when you tell women to be silent. They look like they are crying because women won't stop speaking...
Surely you have been loved. Did none encourageI agree it must have been painful, but
I don't mean to sound cold, but at least he's had
at least Two women who've loved him.
I don't get why society seems to feel bad
when someone's been married more than once
or twice, but if someone's never had love, they're
kind of ostracized and treated almost like there's
something wrong with them.
Society and church too, it seems.
Not saying one pain is worse than the other,
just that one always seems to get consolation,
the other pain is often overlooked.
If you had love and lost it for awhile,
ppl can't wait to help you find it again,
but if you never had it, they either don't care,
or assume you're not worthy of it, I guess.
(Yeah, a down day today, I know)
(I'm only human)

Maybe Paul just wanted to encourage them to talk more.
Lol someone said when I asked that question: Women silent? Is that even possible?
Because Paul is alluding to the creation order given by God.

Ummm, not who you're asking, but, hey! Technically, I AM a "silent female." (i.e., I do think women should be silent in church.)Bump - yep.
Back somewhere in the middle of this muddle, we brought up verses to
show "church" was where people met including homes. There are
various verses in the bible to show this.
So if women should remain silent in "church" then all I am asking
is where do the "silent female" people think we should be silent.
Especially important as it has been said women only need to be silent in church
not in their own homes. But the early church met in homes!
Orrrr, simply grew up with a language that wasn't English.O dem Whores.... what would we do with out em'?
And... I have to say some of you kids have led a very sheltered life...![]()
Wish I had...:/
Yeah, I considered myself fortunate I got to raise them, and as Christians. She took my two and made me a part time dad, that was the hardest part. Honestly a part of me died during that time.
Stunnedbygrace, you do not know if perhaps his first wife was the one who broke the marriage covenant. How then do you establish that HIS former sin will be held against him?
Do you think it goes back to Adam and Eve? Sometimes I wonder,I was giving him the answer he wanted.
I don't believe his former sin will be held against him by God, if He is in Christ, just as I don't believe Eve's former sin is held against me by God.
Of course, men may hold our sins against us and claim us not holy enough to serve or teach a word or rebuke for good, because of our former sins. But God won't.
Not that kind of love.Surely you have been loved. Did none encourage
you to seek it again? Have you ever rejected it?
Sometimes the man is better equipped to raise the children.Yeah, I considered myself fortunate I got to raise them, and as Christians.
