Worried not about being single.
Enjoy being close to the Lord with no confusion.
Ask God to send you the right person for you.

I'm single and I wouldn't have it any other way. A date every now and then is nice, but I don't have interest in getting attached to anybody.

I am very much enjoying my single life. There are lonely times here and there but I've never been this fulfilled and I have no intention to change my course until God tells me to. xD

I recently made a list with the pros' and cons of single vs relationship... The first thing on the single pro's list was pretty much the end all, be all... "Only my opinion matters" Being single certainly does afford the opportunity for a very close walk with Christ. He has provided for me everyday.

Someone else in this thread already said something close to what I wanted to say, but almost all the people I know that have a significant other or are married or whatever seem to complain about them all the time. I'm like "then why are you with them?" I don't know man, it seems like relationships are a whole lot of drama and stuff.

I disagree, I been "content with singleness" for a while and am no longer going to stay in this mode....I think relationships are awesome and we're not meant to be an island anymore....living like an island stinks....

I think we should expand this... why stop at singleness???

Be content with your shyness

Be content with your weightness

Be content with your paycheck

Be content with your annoying workmates

etc, etc...

Sorry, married person comin through and happy as can be! Don't weep for me. :)

But seriously, wait on God single people. And while you wait be busy doing the Lords work. Keep your life full and if the time comes that mr/mrs right comes they will have a great partner to join their life to. Enjoy life and don't worry. God's plan is best whether single or married.

I've been content being single for several years now, it took me a while to get to where I am. I realized that being single was not so bad, I'm able to pick up and go when I want. I can decide to serve a ministry without having to worry about taking time away from my spouse. I have hobbies that I take up because it's something I want to do. I have friends to hang out with and also enjoy quiet time to myself when the mood hits.

Several things were a challenge for me as a single women, like car repairs and fixing things around the house, but I have male friends that can help me with that or they can refer someone to help me out.

Relationships are great, marriages are even better but in order to get there, you have to be comfortable with yourself first. We all have things to do while we are single, like Adam. God knew it wasn't good for man to be alone, Adam had to finish his job naming all the animals and plants before God brought Eve to him.

When God first told Adam that it wasn't good for him to be alone Adam asked okay God....what will it cost me? God said...it's gonna cost you an arm and a leg. Adam said....what can I get for a rib. Lol

I know some people like me that just aren't the right kind for relationships or marrying. I'm way too immature and self-absorbed to be a good match to a gal. Maybe for those types of people, accepting being single isn't really much of a challenge. I don't know. Just thinking aloud I guess. This thread makes me think.

Oh I only see good ones around me and they never complain.
I can't be single and content. Maybe because I was half of a twin. Don't understand those people that can be alone and happy. It was much easier to pray a lot when I was married. Didn't need to fill the gap. But I decided to crush on the Lord then. I said I can't pray alone. I need a prayer partner. Then I saw Jesus praying Alone and felt aI had to join Him.
