sometimes i hate that god gave me...

I hate that god gave me beauty because it has given me the wrong decisions in life and even made me sin.. I sometimes wish I was a regular looking person or a person most men dont give attention to i know this is a stupid post or whatever but its a random thought ... Im grateful for it but the same time I don't enjoy it that much .. I dont mean to sound conceited or anything

Hello, Well I'm going to start assuming you're not trolling!

Have you ever considered that it's not your "beauty" or "aesthetic looks" that's causing you to make wrong decisions in life or sin? Cuz trust me...ugly people sin too I know plenty of them...I'm going to go with my gut feeling to say that it's not your beauty that's causing you to sin, it's your lack of self control...or perhaps you are lacking something...a sense of love or attention that these individuals give to you and that gives you comfort and allows you to open up and act without any self control if you will...See I don't believe the problem lies in your outward appearance but in your lack of understanding of who Jesus is...when we realize and recognize how fulfilled and content we truly are in a relationship (a legit seeking whole heartedly kind of relationship) then things of the world don't look as appealing or attractive to us...that's the truth from experience trust me!

All it takes is the one step to recognize that it's not the outside that's the problem but the inside...look for love affection and attention in Christ Jesus and let him fill up those empty spaces in your heart...because he fills it up completely and not just temporary like the world does...

Why the hell do people think i'm trolling it makes me angry . Like i said i know the post may sound stupid or i may sound conceited maybe i chose the wrong words to describe what i feel about what i think about how i look and there are no ugly people thats why I said regualar looking people and i say that cause many people have said youre gorgeous and all that ... I just wish that the decision i made due to how i felt about myself since back then i had a huge ego and all those bad things never happened ... i hope you understand what im saying never meant to sound conceited brother

Well, I don't think you're being conceited or anything. I think it's the first step to freedom. Confession it is. Oh and I recall I posted a VM on your wall saying "Smile, you're beautiful!" That was both a compliment and an encouragement.

A few things first, rather than the beauty that you were given, the decisions you've made back then, were, as you said, what you "felt about yourself." There is a big difference. :) It is not because of what you've been given. It's like saying:

"I'm miserable because I have a Samsung and not an iPhone." No offence to Samsung fans, but this is the closest analogy I can think of for teenagers (and I love you Samsung guys). Instead of the 'phone' being the source of the problem, it is 'ungratefulness'.

So if we take some time to dive in deep, what is it really that you hate about your past?

If it's the wrong decisions you've made, then that's an entirely different thing. Here's a newsflash: We're all going through that. You're not alone in this struggle. I have made decisions in my past that are pretty filthy and unimaginable for a preacher's kid. And I'm pretty sure Mo0448 has, as well. Even the owner of this site! Heck, even your parents and your friends. Do you see the point?

Use it for good. A pastor I had got saved because there was a beautiful woman at his door to evangelize, together with another man. It was the only reason he listened. All the others he just told to go away.

What would make you think the way a person looks has anything to do with sin?
Im not being unkind, we all do things wrong, we all have to take responsibility for what
we do. We all need a saviour, we all need to come to a point of repentance.

I think you need to see the situation for what it is and chose this day who you will serve.

Sin.....everyone has done it.... Keep your eyes and thoughts toward/on Jesus and not yourself or what others think of you.

Don't blame your looks for your choices. Your choices are just that, Your Choices. Doesn't matter if you're ugly or pretty. Fat or thin. Nice or mean. You're going to sin and you can't blame it on your situation. It's a choice we all make.

And it sounds trollish because you're complaining that you sin because of your looks when lots of attractive people don't sin because of their looks. And also because, from what I can see, you have a low cut short hidden behind your arm, drawing more attention to your looks. Maybe I'm seeing it wrong, but that's how it appears.

Well it depends on you perspective....from your screen it is the girl on the right but from the perspective of the picture looking at you it is the girl on the left......have I confused you....good! lol...yea like I said in another thread I agree with you....
