godsslife,
There is a thing about being self seduced and sin, it is abuse and destructive, that is what choosing to be sinful/sinfulness does, it causes us to be "abusers of ourselves", it is the epitome of idolatry.
God teaches us to love ourselves, with healthy mindedness. God influences us to respect ourselves, our bodies, others and to be self controlled in the "spirit of our minds."
There is so much available to us in life, invest in cultivating the thoughts of your heart toward things that are good and right and honorable- now that is beautiful.
And, this was a great post below.

Have you ever considered that it's not your "beauty" or "aesthetic looks" that's causing you to make wrong decisions in life or sin? Cuz trust me...ugly people sin too I know plenty of them...I'm going to go with my gut feeling to say that it's not your beauty that's causing you to sin, it's your lack of self control...or perhaps you are lacking something...a sense of love or attention that these individuals give to you and that gives you comfort and allows you to open up and act without any self control if you will...See I don't believe the problem lies in your outward appearance but in your lack of understanding of who Jesus is...when we realize and recognize how fulfilled and content we truly are in a relationship (a legit seeking whole heartedly kind of relationship) then things of the world don't look as appealing or attractive to us...that's the truth from experience trust me!
All it takes is the one step to recognize that it's not the outside that's the problem but the inside...look for love affection and attention in Christ Jesus and let him fill up those empty spaces in your heart...because he fills it up completely and not just temporary like the world does...
hope this helps
take care
In Christ,
Mo
