I'm not kidding. If there was a monastery that would accept me, I'd get rid of every stinking thing I own, put on my robe and spend the rest of my life in silent contemplation of God. After I watched the documentary on Netflix "Into Great Silence", I've been curious.
Honestly, I haven't ruled it out either.

Shpadoinkle.......... are you serious? Jesus said "GO ye......"..the rest is history. The sad thing is that the word "GO" did not mean "Go into a monastery and hide from the world in order to contemplate. Sadly, that did occur..and guess what...we look back and call it "THE DARK AGES". We...as Christ followers and filled with the Holy Spirit, have a mission..to share, to witness, to reflect Christ..to show the world the real reason for our creation.....not to hide in some dark monastery. Ah..you say....Holy Spirit...that's the TICKET! Perhaps you and the Holy Spirit need to commune in order to light a fire inside of you, giving you a passion for others...in order to stay our of that monastery where you will never be a positive influence or Victorious warrior for JESUS CHRIST.

Yes, I am very serious. Jesus is the best and only friend I have and all I need. The rest of the world can do whatever it wants, but I'd like to do what I want. I think I'd make a good monk.

See, this is why we're running out of eligible men.
There are 3.5 billion men on the planet. You've got plenty of options. Besides, I've never been anything close to what could be considered eligible. A woman had to have extremely low standards and no other good options to date a troll like me.

Males, not men. There's no way on God's green earth that there are 3.5 billion men in the world. Even then, it's probably more females than males.

The few eligible Christian guys are still there waiting patiently. I guess the Christian women just don't notice, or either don't want a Christian guy.

Unfortunately accurate indeed.....and yet we cannot stop trying to love the princesses of Israel though they hate and have in derision and mockery the only men that would even try to love them. :(

Probably Single Level 3 for me. I'm not looking but I'm open to the possibility. That said, it's important for me to better learn to love myself first before I learn to love another person again.

Here is the scenario :)

Good Christian guy sees good Christian girl but does not know if he is
good enough for her, or she good enough for him. So he prayers and waits
for her to make the first move.

Good Christian girl sees good Christian guy but does not know if she is
good enough for him, or he for her. So she prayers about it and waits for
him to make the first move.

Good Christian guy wonders and waits but she makes no move, so he pretends
he is not interested and does nothing.

The rest of the congregation thinks wouldn't they make a happy couple,
pity they are not interested in each other, such a shame.

:)

We simply have to add Level 9 - married

The rest of list goes from totally uninvolved up to engaged. It is only logical to finish with committed involvement, as the last level. Besides, there is no "married" forum, and the family forum on a lot of days could be retitled "The Divorce Forum." So that leads us poor married folk with no level and no forum.

I guess I could start a thread like this about the levels of "marriedness" for want of a better word, but I think most married people also cycle through highs and lows? !

Anyway, level 9 for 35 years coming up in April. It's been tumultuous but fun! I don't know what I would do without him!
