And I do that too actually : p Just play arpeggio chords for a while and listen to them : p It is way relaxing. And yeah I like post rock, its great. Dunno a whole lot of bands but I like the bands I know. You said you used to be big into them, are you not so much now? What do you listen to now?
And I do play in a band, actually : p I wont share the name here publically but I am the bassist in a band yeah. We arent playing as much as we used to though, and we kinda do kinda dont have a drummer, as our drummer doesnt really wanna play much anymore. But we still get together and play without him and record stuff occasionally yeah : p Do you have friends you play with?

Is your band name naughty or something? Link me in pm if you have any music I can listen to online! It's definitely fun to be able to jam with some people, even if it's not super-serious. I haven't played with anyone in a couple of years, no. That's the way I like it, for the time being at least. I'm actually considering getting involved with a praise and worship group, though! That's more my style nowadays. Oh, you asked what music I listen to now... Hmmm... really lots of different styles, but mostly modern Christian stuff, I love a band called United Pursuit (check out their album "Endless Years", I think you'd like it), and I like folk, a lot too.

haha thanks for the friendly welcome. Yeah, "new" is definitely the wrong word, I've been around here for ages lol, just never consistently. I'm kind of like a goose, I fly away somewhere else from time to time, but I come back eventually.

No regret with the analogy. :)

No, we arent : p Its mostly a privacy thing (am uncomfortable giving sharing links with personal information on me online for everyone to see) but also a bit of the fact that the only stuff we have online is not really anything worth showing : p But I do have recordings, I can email them to you if you PM me your address, if youd like.

And yeah! I like playing with other people. Or at least certain people, we once played with this hardcore punk rock band, and when I would jam with them I really never knew what to play. Was not my comfort zone : p
And yeah, same. I really wanna join a church band one day, I think it would be way cool. I would actually like to play Christian music, but it would have to be a really unique band, as I said before about being picky with Christian music : p
And United Pursuit, will look into them, yeah.
