Hey not sure if anyone here was close to the user "coby", but she just left the site due to a horrible argument with a troll in Bible Discussion. It's really too bad, as I don't think she realised the guy is a troll. I loved her posts. I wonder is anyone in touch with her outside CC just to see if she's okay or if she wants to come back?

That's the thread, she got fed up at the end of that thread and then she left. Like you guys have said, I really enjoyed her posts and it's a shame that she left under such circumstances. Didn't get to know her personally but she seemed like a great person.

It's gettin real hard ta hold back anymore with all these folks comin in here ta cause trouble and some of these so called regulars who ain't anywhere near who they say they are but sure know how to put on a good show for what they want folks to think they are....... Ughhhgggh....

Honestly though, this site has been getting a lot of weirdos lately. Like even right now I got an email from someone I don't know asking me "Do I need any help?". And the trolling is relentless. Kind of not surprised she left.

This just tore it....... Good folks havin to put up with stuff that shoulda never been meant for them.... And i ain't just talkin about in here....you find really good folks and they turn out to be... Special, but somebody else done come along and ruined folks who were supposed to be or could have been....... Uuugghhhhhh....... God i just don't understand!!.......thats it..... yes I'd like to see coby return too. moderate people are a comfort to have around.

with that said, everyone needs to know when to leave an argument. sometimes a break from a website is healthy, especially if you have difficulty sidestepping that stuff.

All the GOOD people here either are banned or leave, and all the BAD trolls and troublemakers get to stay. That just ain't right.

The BDF is a truly hate-filled and hate FULL forum. Definitely think it needs an exorcist.. *snort* :/ IMO, it's by far the most contentious, strife-filled forum on this entire site.

It grieves me when a good person leaves the site because some fool (and I use the term in the same sense as it is used in Proverbs) causes trouble, and the first person just gives up.
