How I became this person.
I was a few years younger than you, still in college, and read something:
When you're 20, you worry about what everyone is thinking of you.
When you're 40, you stop caring what everyone is thinking of you.
At 60, you realize no one is thinking of you.
So, I just jumped to the 60 mentality early. Let's face it, the only person most people are thinking about is themselves, so if you say what you're thinking, one of two things happens:
1. It shocks them enough to make them think over their self-perception.
2. They're so busy thinking about themselves they forget what you said in two minutes.
And, since I'm usually thinking about myself anyway, even if they get riled it doesn't matter. I'll forget why shortly because it's not me.
See? Easy! lol
